Monteagle Tennessee is located atop the wonderful Cumberland Plateau, 2000 feet above sea level at the foot of the Great Smoky Mountains. Our home is named "Camelot." The views off the various bluffs are beautiful and offer perfect places to watch both sunrises and sunsets. Any stress is non-existent. This gated community was founded in 1882 and when one drives through the gates, The area feels as if you are traveling back in time as all of the homes are approximately 100 years old.

There is an abundance of hiking trails, including the famous Fiery Gizzard trail, caves, water falls with lakes, and rivers all located within a short 20 minute drive. Golf and tennis are just five minutes from the house. Terrific whitewater rafting of the Chattuga, Nantahala, and Ochoe Rivers are within a two hour drive.

The weather is always interesting. The days are nice and the nights are cool. Sometimes the rainstorms are incredible to watch from the cozy porches.

Monteagle is located 90 miles from Nashville, Tennessee and 50 miles from Chattanooga, Tennessee on I-24 and is six miles from the University of the South at Sewanee.
