The other bedroom has a pair of twin beds. A convenient snack bar, complete with 4 stools, connects the fully equipped kitchen and dining room. Next to the kitchen are a washer and dryer. The dining room table seats 4 and adjoins the living room. The festive living room couch is a hide-a bed that sleeps two. There is also a matching love seat and an entertainment center with a 27” television, DVD player and a small stereo. The end of the living room has a sliding glass door that opens into a porch.
This condominium in the O building sleeps 6 comfortably. Convenient to the pool, and tennis courts the kids can bring friends and summer days fill with fun. The O building is at the end of the development closest to the beach butting up to the sand dunes. Have a cool drink, watch the kids play in the pool and plan the evening.
St. Augustine has everything you could want in beach vacation. Over the gated boardwalk are postcard beaches with all kinds of room for sunbathing and throwing a ball. End the day back on the porch relaxing with someone special. Buffeted by the ocean breeze, laugh and enjoy each other’s company.
May and October are particularly enjoyable with bright, clear 70 degree days. With the kids in school these months are available for Off-Season rates, a great value.
THINGS TO DO…
• GOLF: The World Golf Village is to Golf what Cooperstown is to baseball. Their facilities and courses are world-class. To complement The World Golf Village the adjoining community of Ponte Vedra is home to the PGA headquarters and the PGA tour’s Flagship event The Players Championship. The Stadium Course at the TPC at Sawgrass is one of the most challenging golf courses in the world.
• FISHING: The Intercoastal Waterway yields some of the tastiest fish in the Atlantic. These fish typically range from 5 to 25 pounds. Depending on the season you will catch Redfish, Sea Trout, Flounder, Snook, Black Drum, Lady Fish and Jack Crevalle. On a ½ day ocean trip you will fish within a few miles of shore. This fishing is more seasonal and can be a great way to test your sea legs.
From the Pier or a boat you will catch King Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, Cobia, Tarpon, and Sea Bass. These fish average 12-80 pounds. Deep-Sea adventures will take you to the Gulf Stream. This can be great fun and hard work. During your 12-hour trip you will catch Barracuda, Grouper, Wahoo and Sail Fish. These fish average 10 to 65 pounds and have spirit.
• ATTRACTIONS: On those rare rainy days you can keep the kids busy with the “Ripley’s Believe It Or Not” museum and the Alligator Farm. After a busy morning at the beach GO SHOPPING. The Prime Outlet offers a choice of 64 stores for all ages and interests, many with 50% discounts. Across the street Power Shop 85 designer brand stores from Burberry and Coach to Waterford.
• HISTORY: Settled 21 years before the English colony on Roanoke Island, 42 years before Jamestown and 55 years before the pilgrims stepped on Plymouth Rock. St. Augustine is the only town in the US that dates from the battle between Spain and England’s Queen Elizabeth. A remarkable Spanish fort built in 1672 guards the town’s harbor. South of St. Augustine you will find the remnants of an English fort on an island called Matanzas, named for the Spanish term referring to massacre.
If you doubt your or your kid’s interest in history prepare to be entertained. There are carriage rides guided by characters that will make history an interesting story of Privateers, Pirates and 19th century industrialists. Local history also comes disguised as ghost stories told by great storytellers on a guided walking tour in the evening. These stories capture kid’s imaginations and are intriguing for adults. By the end of the night you will have enjoyed history in a way you never thought possible.

Had a great time at this condo. First floor def a plus...going out the back door and only a few steps to the pool and beach was a big plus. Ease of entry was great. No having to pick up keys, etc. Very clean and well maintained. I would recommend this to anyone!! Just don't go next September when I plan on booking it again.

This was our fourth time in St Augustine Beach staying at the Ocean Village Club and the second time renting unit O16. The other units we rented in the past were dog friendly, but not as close to the beach. The location of O16 is just perfect, directly by the pool and building closest to the beach. This made it perfect for early morning and late evening walks on the beach with our dogs. O16 is a first floor unit, so if you vacations with your dog, this unit is ideal and I would definitely recommend it. In addition, our overall vacation experience was perfect, from dealing with the rental office, to picking up and dropping off the keys...everything was great. We can't wait until our next vacation in St Augustine Beach. The Kowalcyk's 05/2010

I needed to book a last minute trip to St. Augistine for my wife, kids and mother. Jeff and his wife were very accomodating, got us setup in a great condo right away and even called the ahead to the office to let them know when we would be arriving. The condo was just a 5 minute walk across a boardwalk to gorgeous sandy beach of along the atlantic and no more than 10-15 minute drive right into the old city. We absolutely will stay here again.

We spent a few days in October 2009. The unit was very clean and maintained very well. It is a perfect location to the pool and for walking to the beach. It is on the end and in a quiet section of the units. The only update needed is TV equipment, but of course you are not always inside. We want to stay here again in the Fall. The downtown area is beautiful with lots to do. PLEASE try O'Steen's for the best seafood ever. Also this unit is pet friendly and was odor free.
