Two families totaling 6 people stayed in the beautifully remodeled top floor unit. Every aspect of our stay was outstanding! From the breath-taking views framed in several windows (both bedrooms have their own balcony) to the fresh beach-themed décor, this is the place to stay! The kitchen is modern with a granite-topped island, perfect breakfast nook all flowing into the comfy, fresh living room. It feels like you are in tree fort with the evergreens complimenting the expansive view of Lake Superior. The loft area upstairs overlooks the living room and has a nice tucked-in room off to the side with 2 twin beds and a mini bathroom - a perfect place for kids to sleep (including a trundle bed at the bottom of the built-in cabinets). My family stayed in the bedroom with its own private full bath, nice queen bed and a seating area that included a pull-out couch (so kids has the option to stay in our room if necessary, but they loved the loft). Every surface of this condo has been updated so it is fresh and new. These condos share a common fire pit, where we met lovely families and roasted marshmallows. There is a cool private-like beach and huge rock outcropping to explore where the kids played for over two hours (and you could easily see the kids from the condo). We explored the near-by hiking trails, ski resort area, and Grand Marais - this place is close to it all! I highly recommend staying here!Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.
