Three separate wall of windows look out over the “world’s most beautiful beaches” in this amazing 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo. Nestled at the base of the Emerald Coast’s white sand dunes, Compass Point in Watersound is one of St. Joe Company’s premiere properties. Inside, a seemingly endless view of the eastern horizon along the white-sand beach is framed with almost floor to ceiling windows and doors. This breathtaking view is repeated in each of the bedrooms and the living room. The front door opens to a small entryway walled in whitewashed clapboard and underscored by ultra light knotty pine polished floor. To the left of the front door is the laundry room with a full size stacked washer and dryer. To the right is the gleaming galley kitchen which opens into the dining and living area. A bedroom is located off each side of the main room, both of which offer a king-size bed. The guest bedroom opens onto a 24-square-foot balcony, just large enough for a romantic rendezvous for two. The master bedroom opens onto the main terrace, which is also accessible from the living room. A TV is hidden inside the wicker-like armoire and two chairs make for easy lounging. Off the bedroom is the master bath featuring a glass and tile walk-in shower, double vanity and an extra-deep tub. Sliding wood shutters overlooking the tub are inserted into the wall between the bath and bedroom. Open they allow the natural light to fill the bath and give the room a slightly exotic feel. When closed, the tub becomes a private sanctuary. The kitchen is equipped with all stainless appliances, a double door refrigerator, glass topped built-in range and oven and under the counter microwave. Everything you need to prepare a simple or gourmet meal is within easy reach. A full-length granite eat-at bar that distinguishes the kitchen from the living/dining area, the ceiling soars upward giving the room even more light and depth. The wood dining table seats six and is a wonderful gathering space for your family. The living area has a large overstuffed couch and two comfy chairs offering roomy seating for six. The room ends in an alcove with a nautically themed desk sitting amid the angled wall of windows. A wireless router at the built in desk in the kitchen provides high-speed computer connection throughout the home. Access to the beach is just a minute’s walk along the boardwalk on one of several dune walkovers. There are pools to the east and west of the building. This is a pedestrian friendly neighborhood with walking and biking trails in a natural setting. It is located near two ecologically rare dune lakes and some of the area’s finest dining is just minutes away on Scenic 30A road. Assigned parking in the covered common garage is just 20 steps from the elevator. Bike and video rentals are available at the community entrance.
