My husband and I rented this lovely property for Thanksgiving week. It is everything described and more. Pat is a gracious hostess and makes sure everything is in order...and that all the details work smoothly. We loved it! It is close to the beach, where we rode her bikes, and close to all arteries so getting to our kids in Santa Monica was a breeze. Hope to return one day!!!!

Just a few gorgeous blocks away from the city, night and beach life. Great neighborhood. This home was exactly what we expected from the photos and description. It was super clean and well equipped. We were a little nervous about a rental property, but everything was wonderful. The owner answered any questions we had and was very helpful. We would definetly recommend this property to our friends and family.

My 7th stay at Pat's perfect place :-) For me it's kind of a magic place where I am able to collect new energy for the upcoming things in my life and recap experiences to develop everything. The place inspires and gives peace to the moment. It is a power-spending surrounding giving you everything for every kind of mood of your constitution. Four of us family members from Virginia wanted to attend the first birthday celebration of our first grandchild/nephew. Our daughter -- the golden child's mother -- found Pat's home online and walked by to take a look, then was invited by Pat to have a look inside. She was as impressed at first glance as we were after staying there: elegant and comfortable with many thoughtful touches and a superbly equipped kitchen. We made the birthday cupcakes there and hosted the rest of the family for dinner. The location is perfect too, as it's only 4-6 walkable blocks from the beach and downtown MB, and less to our daughter's family's home. We'll be back many times and will look forward to Pat's hospitality each trip.

I rented Pat's beautiful home for my parents, brother and his wife when we visited from the east coast for my son's birthday. What a wonderful experience! The home is gorgeous and had everything they needed. We even used the huge kitchen and appliances to make my son's birthday cupcakes! We will absolutely be renting from Pat again the next time they come for a visit!

On three separate occasions in May, August, and September 2011, my husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Pat’s Beach House in Manhattan Beach, CA. The intentions of the visits to Manhattan Beach were business-related, but we found ourselves in complete vacation mode and we owe a lot of it to Pat’s accommodations. The house itself is very conveniently located near Manhattan Beach’s actual beach and downtown dining/entertainment area, but it is also far enough that you are removed from any noise. We found ourselves driving the few blocks down to Manhattan Avenue, but it is easily walkable. There is a wonderful variety of dining options in the area and Pat has conveniently left local restaurant information for her guest’s to browse and plan or you can stay in and cook in the fabulous kitchen as we often found ourselves doing. The kitchen has no shortage of amenities and the spice cabinet is full of surprises for flavoring your meal. Pat let us know right away that anything in the freezer/ fridge was to be used as we wish and even though we made our visits to Ralph’s for our groceries we would supplement our meals with some findings. The entire house is immaculately clean. My husband and I make it a practice to rent homes every time we travel for more than a few days and have stayed at many homes over the years. Pat’s house is probably the cleanest we have stayed in. The house is not only clean, but very nicely decorated and makes you feel right at home. The living area is cozy and the couch is very comfortable. It’s easy to watch movies for hours and lose track of time while there. The outdoor space of the home is very pleasant as well and the gardens are kept so nicely, you will definitely admire the plant life even if in passing. The house has so many subtleties that will make your time there so enjoyable, it’s hard to explain them all, but once there you will be able to recognize and appreciate these details. We had the pleasure of talking with Pat each time we were there and now feel like we not only have a friend in Manhattan Beach, but a great place to stay at when we return, next time for vacation only. Pat's beach home is a wonderful retreat for those looking for a classy and homely place to spend their vacation - the home is just meters away from the beach but in a very peaceful neighborhood. The house is packed with amenities for everyone - from bikes and beach equipment, to books, games, info and a huge tv with hundreds of channels and movies. The fridge is also stocked with food. The house is cleaned regularly and has been kept in immaculate and designer condition - it's the ideal home for anyone that deserves a good holiday! Enjoy!

I just finished my 6th stay at this wonderful place. I am from Germany and this place became kind of a recharge-station for my mental power to make my busy days keep going perfect. When you just arrive you feel like home. Warm colours, perfect equipment, no noise, everything you need around the corner and such a landlord, who is ready to help all the time. My high school girlfriend and I had a wonderful time at Pat's house. The house is beautiful, with plenty of room, great new furniture, comfortable beds, and all kinds of extra amenities supplied by the owner. Pat was so accommodating, responsive, and easy to work with, and the beach and Manhattan Beach shops were all a short walk away. We just returned home from a week at Pat's Manhattan Beach rental home. It was a pleasure to have stayed there - there wasn't anything that we needed that wasn't provided, and it was a immaculate. Only 5 minutes to the beach and a short walk to the shops, cafes, restaurants. With a car, movies, shopping and other restaurants easily accessible as well as other attractions. There were 4 adults and our 4 month old baby grandson - he liked it too- especially sitting in the gazebo! Pat was gracious,warm, and available if there was a need - we would recommend her beach rental home. Thank you Pat! We hope to see you again! The Collins Family

My husband and I stayed at Pat's beautiful house for 4 nights in October. It has every amenity you could wish for, including wireless internet which was greatly appreciated. Beautifully decorated and quiet, and street parking is no problem in this part of Manhattan Beach. Just a 5 minute walk to the beach, bikes that we could use in the garage. Pat was very helpful and welcoming. All in all, a great place to stay.

We had the pleasure of renting this beach house in September for three nights. We were in town for a family wedding. I corresponded with Pat many times prior to our arrival and she was very helpful and timely in replying to emails and/or returning my calls. The house was immaculate upon our arrival, the kitchen was spacious, the furniture was well appointed and comfortable, especially the king and queen bedrooms. The amenities were plentiful (including wireless internet) and there wasn’t anything else we could have possibly needed. Pat thought of everything! Pat was very accessible and on site and made us feel very welcome in her home. We were sad to pack up and leave on our last day but now we know we always have a ‘home away from home’ at Pat’s, in Manhattan Beach! We look forward to our next visit. Thanks for everything, Pat. This is a great rental home and a great owner. Easy walk to beach and the strand. My kids loved wakling to the park next door. I biked on the beach every day (on a bike that was in the house). Very upscale and clean home with amenities. Fully stocked kitchen. Quiet and peaceful. Pat (the owner) is a great communicator. We had multiple conversations and e-mails which helped me a lot. I am looking forward to returning to this same home next year.

This vacation rental was luxuriously appointed, comfortable and is all about location, location, location! The kitchen is so lovely, I even enjoyed cooking on vacation. And my husband and son enjoyed relaxing on the comfy sofa watching movies on the flat-screen. We thought we had died and gone to heaven. As we left, my husband and I agreed that we would make this Manhattan Beach vacation rental an annual vacation get-away destination. Only next time we wil plan to stay a little longer. After checking out several places, the best decision we made was renting out this amazing, awesome, luxurious home. Very close to the beach, you can walk every where, perfect place to spend few days relaxing. Loved the gazebo and garden area, had fun and really enjoyed ourselves. Pat is very gracious & kind, was a pleasure meeting her, she's like an old friend. We definetly will be back and hope by next time we can use the balcony and the garage area. My husband, daughter and I just spent a fabulous weekend in beautiful Manhattan Beach. Pat's home is absolutely gorgeous and so very comfortable. Everything is beautiful. The beds are luxuriously dressed and very snug and warm. The TV is big and clear and fabulous. The bathroom is flooded with natural light and very well stocked with everything you could imagine and then some. The kitchen is beautiful. Pat is a very gracious hostess. It is almost like you are staying at a friend's home. I asked if she had a nightlight for my daughter. I believe she did not but then went out and purchased one and said we could keep it. My rent and security deposit checks got lost in the mail - she was so kind. SHe offered to let us pay cash upon arrival. She is a fabulous, warm person with a beautiful home. This is a great place for a family vacation. The house is very nice and fully furnished with everything you need for a beach getaway. I am a beach fanatic and this place is a beach lover's paradise and the perfect getaway. The house was closer to the beach than most of the upscale hotels i was considering in the area and even more luxurious. As a New Yorker, I have always gone to Florida or the Bahamas but this was the best vacation i've had to date. It's well worth the long flight and I am looking foward to my next visit.
