Our comfortable 4 bedroom house is completely and tastefully remodeled and includes tile throughout the downstairs, new appliances and granite counters in the kitchen, plus 3 sliding glass doors for stunning views of the sunset over the lake. Only one bedroom is upstairs, which contains a queen size bed and opens to a large balcony for a westward view of the lake. Two of the bedrooms downstairs also have queen beds and the 3rd bedroom contain 2 twin beds. The living room has a couch and a futon and can be closed off by double french doors for additional sleeping space. The screened porch, also with the lake view, has 2 ceiling fans,gas grill and table for 6, which is a great way to barbecue and enjoy the stunning sunsets.
The house sits on almost an acre of land and is hidden from the street by 20 orange trees. In the "back yard", there is a rolling lawn with additional citrus trees and towering oak trees, complete with picturesque Spanish moss, ending at the lake. The yard is fenced on 3 sides, but open with 90 feet along this quiet lake. There is a 199 ft. dock with 2 slips and a boat ramp is 2 min. away. Fish from the dock or bring your canoe, kayak, or boat.
Parking is ample and there is space for RV, but no hook up. Please call for availability dates, the calender could be wrong.
Conveniently located between Sebring and Lake Placid and only 6.5 miles away from the Sebring Raceway.

All race event weekends-porche-corvette-Chin, Ferrari, Scca. etc., or 12 hr race, only 6.5 miles from Sebring Raceway. Motorcycles welcome.

We live in Fort Lauderdale, Fl and Don is an engineer/general contractor and Kathryn is an artist. We orginally thought the house would be a great vacation house, but it seems it is a source of endless creative projects!
Why the Owner Chose Sebring
Don is an amateur race car driver and loves the track. Kathryn is an artist and loves the natural lake views and peaceful atmosphere. She is orginially from Indiana and is reminded of that midwestern niceness of the people in the area.
The Unique Benefits of this House on Lake Josephine
There is plenty of room to entertain family and friends. After a noisy day at the track, or a busy day of sight seeing, it is wonderful to come "home" to a quiet beautiful sunset. Life is good!
