  We rented this Kihei home for a month, and found it to be comfortable, clean and in a perfect location. Peter the property manager, keeps the gardens immaculate and the house in excellent condition. We did not have a problem with ants as the previous renters expressed. We kept most food items in the fridge and/or in baggies. Peter checked with us frequently to see if we were having any problems and also gave us terrific tips on things to see and do. We had a wonderful time! I snorkeled every morning at Ulua Beach and spent several hours at my favorite spot, Polo Beach, at the Fairmont Hotel. I would highly recommend this house to my friends and family, and we hope to stay there again in the future.

  Great location but certainly not on par with other VRBO's. While we understood it was a topical island and a different lifestyle from the mainland, we were constantly annoyed at the ant problem throughout the house. The on-site manager indicated it was due to the lack of rain and not a solvable issue. Despite keeping food put away and counters continually wiped down with Lysol, the ants could not be controlled. The inoperable garbage disposal and sink backup for three days over Thanksgiving were an inconvenience but could happen to any home owner. The on-sight manager provided very helpful tips about the area, beaches etc. However,his hovering did disturb our privacy at times. The house was well supplied with beach and other necessities as indicated on the website However, these issues certainly have not been experienced in our other VRBO rentals. Please note that our written concerns(letter and email) to the owner have gone unanswered for two months. We regret we can not provide the glowing reviews that other renters experienced.

  This home has everything my family needs. Not only is it convenient for a large group; we were provided beach equipment which is always great when travelling. There are beautiful views from the house and you can see the ocean from the deck. The yard is tranquil and lush with Hawaiian plants. It's a very close to wonderful beaches. The house is very comfortable, clean and well taken care of. My family has stayed there twice and will most definitely continue to rent this house when we come to Maui. It's truly a home away from home in a tropical paradise. This place is a gem!
