The main casa has a fully equipped kitchen with indoor and outdoor eating areas. New designer furniture including a queen sofa bed and twin chaise lounge. Authentic Mexican decor throughout main casa and adjacent casita. Main casa and casita have lovely antique brass queen beds and private bathroom. 3/4 of an acre of private, lovely garden like yard with lots of wildlife, beautiful birds and our resident iguana, Iggy. Three entry gates assure privacy and security.
After a day at the beach or fishing, jump in the heated private pool and spa or enjoy a margarita under the palapa while you grill your just caught fish on the new, gas Jenn-Air grill. DishTV flat screen with DVD player, and iPod docking station.
Explore the arroyos and waterfalls on rented quads for a fun adventure. Privacy, peace and quiet, yet near town and good restaurants and shopping and only 1 1/2 hour drive to Cabo or Todo Santos for some excitement. Ahh, Mexico!

Why the Owner Chose Los Barriles
Los Barrilles is Old Mexico with all of the charm that you would expect - unlike Cabo, this small fishing village is still centered around outdoor activities and family life. The best fishing in the world along with the best wind surfing and kite boarding and snorkeling make it a water lovers paradise. Friendly and laid back, cows, goats, horses and dogs roam freely thru town and add to the old world charm. There are great home style restaurants with the best Mexican food around as well as a well stocked market if you want to cook at home. We love LOS B!
The Unique Benefits at this House
Lazing by the pool drinking margaritas and eating chips and guacamole is our main activity! Snorkeling, fishing and quad riding when we feel like some exercise and stargazing at night while floating in the pool is so romantic!

I am writing this email to let you know what a fantastic time Lauren, Danielle and I had staying at Casa Acantilada and visiting Los Barriles and the surrounding area. It was the perfect getaway for us at this time in our lives - just the perfect amount of seclusion and nature-scape, in addition to access to such a wonderful area. The house was PERFECT - so thoughtful in all of its adornments and treasures. Honestly, we could have just stayed at the house and would have been perfectly happy - so many birds and interesting little creatures in and out of the beautiful gardens. Of course, we took the liberty to name many of them... We did snorkel in Cabo Pulmo and explore a bit and found it to be extremely accessible and navigable. The area is amazing...wish we had more time. We will send people your direction if/when we are able. And we hope to return...vamos a regresar! Gracias por todo.
