Don't have a dock, but plenty of boat launches just down the road and a local beach pass too! We have a beautiful 5 bedroom house with a heated pool, billiards table, table tennis, arcade room/play room, fireplaces, cable/internet, etc. The land is beautiful and the house is located near the Old Lyme Inn and the Griswold Museum in Old Lyme, Connecticut on beautifully landscaped property that is set back on 3 private acres on a cul-de-sac road with a very safe area for children to play and ride bikes. The property also abuts a nature preserve with trails. Available by the night, the weekend or the week. We do not allow smoking inside of the house.
20/25 minutes from Mystic and Stonington, 5 minutes to Essex, 10 minutes to Madison and 5 minutes to Old Saybrook. Old Lyme local harbor and beach is a 5 minute drive or 20 minute bicycle ride. A great location--near everything! Even Watch Hill, Rhode Island, is only 35 to 40 minutes away. Perfect for sightseeing in New England; Historic Mystic Village, Seaport and Aquarium, Historic Stonington Village/Light house/Borough, Essex Harbour and town, Harkness Beach, Park, and the O'Neill Homestead and Theatre, Hammonasett Beach and Park in the historic town of Madison, local beaches and boat launches, Connecticut River Valley, Connecticut Wine Trail, Essex Steam Train and Riverboat, Casinos, Outlets, great kayaking, bicycling, bird watching, hiking, ferries from New London (10 minute drive) to Block Island and Long Island, Ferries to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket (about a 40 minute drive), the historic Hadlyme/Chester Ferry in Chester or Hadlyme (10 minutes inland), Ivoryton Village and the Ivoryton Playhouse (10 minutes), Gillette Castle and Park, the Copper Beach Inn, the Bee and Thistle, the Old Lyme Inn and other great restaurants, etc., etc.
If interested, please let us know how many people would be staying at the house. We charge $1550 for the weekend (3 nights) and $4350 for a week. The house is also available by the night for $650. We require a security deposit (not included in the price) and cleaning fee (which is included in the price). In addition, we prefer responsible persons/professionals and/or families--people who will be kind to our home and neighbors. Family Reunions/Corporate o.k. too. We can email photos too! The rate goes to $1850 a weekend (3 nights), $4750 a week, and $750 a night in mid-June, July and August. The 'High Season' rate also applies to holidays, i.e. Memorial Day and Labor Day in addition to major holidays such as Thanksgiving, Easter and Christmas. The house is fully equipped. Photos available upon request. There is a small additional per day charge for electric and propane (if you choose to heat the pool and/or use the grill).

Local public boat launches and marinas, great restaurants and local attractions. Great location on cul de sac--great play for children. Near all beaches, casinos, shopping, great kayaking, boating and fishing nearby. Some of the many attractions include: Connecticut River Valley, Connecticut Wine Trail, Essex Steam Train & Riverboat, Eugene O'Neal Theatre, Mystic Seaport and Aquarium. Historic Villages such as Mystic Seaport, Stonington, Essex, Madison... great kayaking and boating, fishing nearby. Rhode Island Ocean beaches such as Watch Hill, just a 35 minute drive. Great house with playroom/arcade room, beautiful views, fully equipped. Bikes available, billiards, heated pool, table tennis, large laundry room, fireplace, grill, internet, cable, gardens. It's a great house and we love it, so only responsible guests.

- There is a beautiful Nature Preserve with trails that abutt the house. The back of the land sounds like a rain forest in the summer months. There are high technology mosquito magnets surround the property, and thus there are few on our property thus far. We have the land sprayed for ticks and mosquitoes regularly.

June 15th through Labor Day are considered the high season
All Holidays are charged at the high season rate including Memorial & Labor Day.
The house is subject to additional charges for certain functions and
these functions must be agreed upon prior to the rental to accommodate
for additional insurance and additional cleaning. Autumn foilage high rate applies
Only 3 night weekend rentals/weekly rentals or weekday single rentals are
available. (No Weekend single nights)
