This place is amazing. We rented out both houses on the property for our friends and family to stay in for our wedding at Wente Vineyards. It's about a 25 minute drive from the freeway and is the most scenic and relaxing place I've ever visited in the bay area. Both houses were lovely and unique. We were very comfortable staying there. The new deck out the back is amazing and the views are just breath taking. When we arrived at the house our first thought was that we should have had the wedding there! The only small issues we had was with the gas for the BBQ - there wasn't any and the hot tub didn't have a lid so it was never really hot enough to stay in for too long. Other than that, while we were at the houses everything was amazing. The rooms are all spacious and has all the amenities you would ever want. My only complaint would be the wait time in getting our security deposit back. It took 6 weeks, when the contract stated it would take just 1. But we did get the full amount back so were happy with that. In all, it was a great place to stay and we will definitely be looking to rent the homes again next time we're in town with a large group.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

Last month my family and I rented this western cabin, (more like a retreat) and could not have enjoyed it more. The house itself is good sized, decorated in an old western style with leather furniture, beautiful kitchen, comfortable and spacious rooms. Outside the house is a porch which surrounds it-a most comfortable place to sit in the evenings. The grounds were the most amazing part of this property. The views are incredible, and the house is situated to see from most rooms. We enjoyed walking the ranch, seeing the horses, just being on the property.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.

We held our Thanksgiving family reunion at this property. It is everything described and more. High country ranch land with spectacular views, refined rustic charm with all the comforts of home, warm helpful hosts. Our time at this property in the San Francisco Bay Area was fantastic. The property has a great view of Livermore and Dublin...especially at night. Visibility was poor at times due to wildfire smoke blowing in from miles away and general haziness but did not detract from our time there. Great place! Secluded in the hills but secure and pleasant. Very close proximity to San Jose, Oakland, and San Francisco.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

Weekly rates (non-Holidays) include 1 night free; reserve for 7 but pay for 6. Cleaning fee (non-refundable) ranges from $325-$375 based on number of guests. There is a 10% Occupancy Tax. A $500 Refundable Security Deposit is required. This property DOES charge separately for events and/or groups for day use.
