Willow Brook Farm Cottage is a place to get away that feels completely different from the rest! Our guests tell us that it seems like they are right at home. And now with free WiFi access, the cottage is a perfect business destination as well.
Stay in your own private cottage with a sweeping view of the green pastures and pesticide-free gardens of Willow Brook Farm on Bainbridge Island, Washington. Sit on the deck in the summertime overlooking the farm while surfing the internet with our free WiFi internet access, or by the fireplace in the colder months while working on-line for business travelers.
A 35-minute ferry ride from Seattle and a 10-minute drive to the farm brings you to the cottage, which was once the original farmhouse to the 25-acre property. Completely refurbished to suit today's lifestyle, it's a perfect place for you to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings.
Watch the wildlife (including deer, pheasant, quail, coyote, fox, hawks and eagles) from the hot tub/spa on your deck just off the bedroom. The adjoining Willow Brook Farm property is permanently protected from development through the Bainbridge Island Land Trust and is part of the island's wildlife corridor.
The fully-equipped kitchen has everything you will need for a short stay or an extended vacation. Dinnerware, cookware, utensils and small appliances are all provided for home-cooked meals. There's even a juicer for health-conscious guests.
There are two excellent grocery stores located nearby: Central Market in Poulsbo, a 24-hour destination market with a huge organic produce and grocery section, as well as a wonderful selection of prepared meals and a well-stocked wine department. Town & Country Market on the island is also an outstanding market with an excellent deli and wide selection of bakery items, with bulk foods, a wine cellar and kitchen department located in the lower level.
The cottage has one bedroom with a queen bed and walk-in closet (iron and ironing board provided), a den with TV-VCR/DVD (extensive video/DVD and audio library, or bring your own!), bath with shower and hair dryer, complete kitchen, two telephones, fireplace, two large decks, one with a hot tub/spa (open in the summertime). The cottage sits on its own two acres of lawns, gardens with fruit trees, and is four miles from the Seattle ferry and the island's city center.
Rates also include visiting the farm's gardens and orchards--everything from berries to apples, vegetables, herbs, annual and perennial flowers and, of course, our miniature horses. We look forward to seeing you! |
