  We were totally blow away by this fabulous home! The owners have done a beautiful job maintaining the period charm of the house. We had so much fun exploring and admiring all its special features. In addition the rooms are large and airy, the beds are super comfortable, it is very clean, well maintained and equipped. We like to cook a big breakfast in the morning. Unlike many places we stayed this kitchen lacked for nothing. The location is ideal for exploring both Sonoma and Mendocino wineries and very close to many wonderful restaurants. The cookies and wine provided by the owners were delicious and a thoughtful treat. We couldn't have asked for a better place to enjoy spending time with friends and tour some of California's wine country. We will definitely be back!

  Four educators spent the first 4 days of their spring break relaxing in this beautiful house. Perfect for a girl's trip or three couples or a family. Very clean and comfortable! Only complaint is the noisy postal trucks across the street every morning is heard from the master. Sonoma wineries are just a short drive. Awesome vacation!

  We were so lucky to find this home! This is a lovely home that was just as described. Very clean, well maintained and equipped. We were there a month and wish we could have stayed longer:) We did not lack for anything. Many great wineries close by, as well as fine dining (ie. The Farmhouse Inn) and easy access to Napa. The owners were gracious and welcoming and provided so many wonderful suggestions for dining, wineries and sightseeing. The wine and cookies waiting for us upon our arrival was just one of the fine touches provided. Could not have asked for more. We will be repeat customers for sure!!

  Highly recommend this home and the fabulous location. For our group of 5, having the spacious rooms including a dining room made conversations, meal preparation and eating enjoyable. Having the grill was a treat too. We hope to visit again in the summer or fall when we can fully enjoy the porch and back yard setting.

  From the moment we arrived to wine and treats to the open EXPANSIVE floor plan, immaculate, clean, gorgeous, fine linens, and stocked kitchen this stay was a dream come true. My family enjoyed the quite, winery tours, and the nearby towns. The property is really perfect for families who want a central location in wine country, a quite beautiful large home base and a place to cook and enjoy each other. We truly loved our stay and we hope to be back soon!

  We have rented this house twice over last 4 years, and just love the house. The house has tons of room, and the huge dining area was just perfect for the nights we wanted to stay in and cook. The kitchen has everything you need, down to champagne glasses, and spices! The owner baked some delicious cookies for our arrival and left a bottle of wine. The location is prime for Sonoma, and Napa. There is also a basket full of free tastings at many wineries and for discounts. I also cant say enough about the wonderful linens in each of the bedrooms, and bathrooms. I travel a good bit for work, and recreation, and can say this house has so many special touches, we will be back year after year. Only negative is we arent able to come more than that! We priced several other locations, and have been forced to stay at another house 2 years ago due to this house being booked, and the entire time not only were we disappointed we paid more for less of a house, we missed the luxury and comfort of this house.

  Four couples spent 4 nights/5 days touring the surrounding wine country. The house worked out perfectly for all of us. The facilities were excellent including a well supplied kitchen which for us, was important as we ate most of our dinner meals in. The owner of the house even had some wine and brownies waiting for us upon our arrival. We couldn't have asked for a better place to enjoy spending time with friends and tour some of California's wine country.

  We absolutely loved this place! The pictures didn't do it justice. The house is large and roomy and was the perfect location for us. We enjoyed sitting on the veranda enjoying a glass of wine after a day of exploring. Can't wait to go back, will definitely stay here again.

  I wanted to commend the property owners for the beautiful condition of this charming, spacious historic home, where we spent a week in mid-August of this year. It was our first time visiting this beautiful area - we were so impressed with the glorious vistas, the Russian River wineries and the perfect climate! It was a busy week with numerous activities planned for the bride and groom(our nephew). The Main Street house was a welcome retreat - so comfortable, spacious and very well-equipped. As an owner of rental property, and a Realtor handling numerous vacation rentals in our home resort area, I have a true appreciation for the time, energy and "attention-to-detail", necessary for successful vacation renting. These owners have it down, 100%! The beds were so comfortable, linens and towels fresh and soft, front porch so breezy and inviting, a thoughtful baked treat, even a bottle of superb local wine, really, just perfect! Because of a last minute change in plans, our arrival time changed, and the owner met my son way past business hours to allow him entry after a very long travel day. Truly, above and beyond service! Thank you so much!!!

  This vacation house is lovely and comfortable. It is very clean and well taken care of. The owner is pleasant and accommodating. The pictures on the website accurately reflect the property. Amenities include washer and dryer, dishwasher, large dining room, large great room, large wrap-around porch, dishware, silverware, and linens (to name a few). It is located in a beautiful area of Northern California.
