Chris, thank-you for a lovely relaxing vacation at your beautiful home in Cloverdale. Peggy and I thoroughly enjoyed the laid back atmosphere and the easy access to the Sonoma and Napa wine countries as well as San Francisco. We were able to have relatives visit and stay with us whom we hadn't seen in years. it was a perfect week of sight-seeing, tasting, shopping and my favorite- eating.

Had a nice stay. Property was clean and very comfortable and convenient! Having said that, there did seem to be a problem with the water temperature in the shared bathroom. It was difficult to take a shower due to the water temp problem. We would stay here again hoping the bathroom issue would be fixed.

We spent three nights at this beautiful house, for our daughter's wedding. Very clean and cozy, with all the convenience of home.Everything was impeccable and comfortable, and close to everything we needed. The outside porch was very accommodating for a afternoon coffe with family members that came to visit us. Cris, you are a great hostess thank you ! ! I highly recommed this house for anybody who wants to stay in a home away from home. tom and mayela

My family stayed at the Cloverdale residence a few weeks ago and had the most amazing time. The neighborhood is safe and in walking distance coffee shops, root beer stands, and the local movie theatre. The house has a huge front porch, very comfortable beds and spacious rooms. The area is quiet and peaceful. I can not think of a single thing we felt we were lacking during our week in Cloverdale and my family plans on renting this house next year for another family get-together. Healdsburg, Santa Rosa, and other neighboring towns are a short drive away. The scenery is so fantastic you will most likely prefer to drive slower.

All I can say is...WOW! ok, and THANK YOU!! The owners went out of their way to make my (now) husband and I feel right at home. You will be delighted when you see the house in person; it does not disappoint. It was perfect. My husband and I rented this property due to its proximity to our wedding (Simi Winery in Healdsburg) and to hold our rehearsal dinner. It is a very versatile and comfortable home with tons of amenities. We loved the fact that we had a washer and dryer so we didn't have to pack as many clothes for our trip. The super plush towels were a very nice touch. The seating areas have the comforts of home, and the master bed was a dream to sleep on. It has a full kitchen, so it is perfect to entertain "in home" after a day of touring around. The rehearsal dinner event we held was fantastic. The house is super spacious, so it afforded us the opportunity to have guests mingle both on the porch and inside the space. There is ample street parking, and it is conveniently located right next to the main street with shopping and restaurants. We coordinated with a catering company to have a food truck prepare our dinner outside of the house - it was awesome! It was also a great backdrop for our "engagement" wedding photos the day before we were married. Everyone was totally in awe of the property. We could not have been more impressed by the hospitality of the owners and the home itself; we WILL be back! A million Thanks!! Keri & Ed

Just had a FANTASTIC weekend at Main St.! Planned a girls weekend there and everything was perfect. Chris is amazing- everything was ready, spic and span, not to mention the delicious scones she left us!:) The house is so close to everything. We walked to town for the Friday Night Live festivities and were also able to walk to dinner, coffee, etc. The yard and porch are great for enjoying morning coffee, afternoon games, or evening wine and apps. I would definitely recommend Main St. to anyone and hope to be back soon!! THank you Chris!

We stayed at this house for a wine trip weekend. Chris, the owner was outstanding. Chris responded to every email sent regarding the house and helped booking a driver for the wine trip. The house was clean, huge, had a large porch for sitting, and a BBQ. I would HIGHLY recommend this house.

My husband and I, along with another couple, spent a 4 day weekend here. It was fabulous. A very comfortable home - with beautiful architecture. Had all the amenities we needed. Was in the Alexander Valley with easy driving to Russian River Valley and Sonoma Valley- where we toured during the day. In the evening, we could enjoy a bottle of newly purchased wine while we grilled out on the deck and recalled and laughed about our day. We would return in a minute.

My family and I stayed in this gorgeous home for 5 nights in January. We were celebrating my 60th and enjoying the "wine country" for the first time. Everything was provided by the gracious hosts including a welcome of scones and a bottle of wine. The furnishings were spotlessly clean comfortable and kitchen stocked and furnished for cooking at the end of the day. This upstairs unit had a wraparound porch so we could view charming Cloverdale from a bird's eye view. Enjoying the fabulous weather we lucked into was amazing on the porch and the downstairs patio. There are businesses downstairs that are non obtrusive (no noise). This renovated home with period detailing was comfortable and spacious. The beds and linens were amazing. You just can't get this charm and luxury in a hotel! We would go back on a moment’s notice.

We really enjoyed our stay at your house last weekend. The wine and coconut macaroons your had waiting for us were great, and I also wanted to let you know that we really appreciated the fresh flowers in the house. It was a really nice extra touch. In addition, having the luxury towels and linens really makes a difference in making us feel like we were at a high-end B&B, only the whole house was ours! We took advantage of a couple of the wine coupons on Saturday, and of course the weekend weather was incredible for enjoying the area.

Now that we are back in Atlanta and back to our routine, I wanted to take a minute to tell you how nice your house is. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and really liked sitting on the porch in the cool weather. The grill was used almost every night and we ended up eating at home most nights as it was so pleasant sitting outside and relaxing after a full day of wine tasting. I especially wanted to thank you for the "goodies" you left us....both the wine and the yummy bread pudding. We enjoyed every drop and every crumb.

This house was a true pleasure to stay in: absolutely spotless, everything in great working order, and a well-outfitted kitchen. It feels very spacious because there is a sitting area next to the kitchen, a large dining room, a large living room, plus a parlor -- so lots of space to spread out, relax, and hang out in. The owners have done a fabulous job keeping the old charm of the house, while still installing newer conveniences such as A/C. All three bedrooms were perfect, with comfy beds and lots of quiet since they are all at the back of the house.

The five of us gals have been friends for many years. Our place of employment brought us together. Only one of us is still employed there, yet our friendships have remained steadfast. We have always talked about a weekend get away and we finally made it happen. The yellow house on Main Street in Cloverdale was the perfect place for us to relax, renew, and review. This beautifully decorated, spotless, more than comfortable home, had all the amenities! The photos on the website are an excellent, perfectly accurate collection showing this first class property. The owner was extremely helpful, I felt as if she was an old friend too. The special touches, including: fresh flowers, scones, and a bottle of local wine, added to the welcoming atmosphere of this 5 star vacation hideaway. I highly recommend this wonderful home for any special gathering. You will not be disappointed!

thank-you so much for sharing your beautiful house with us and for the welcoming treats in the fridge..oh my goodness those scones were light and delectable. We loved the architecture and decor of the house, the linens and towels were indeed luxurious, and the layout of the house was perfect for hours of talking and laughing. We went with your recommendations and had massages and did a wine tour at Ferrari-Carano. Talk about a weekend of pampering. It was delightful. Thanks again

Our company stayed in the Main St. House for about 2 months during an installation, and also stayed over on some weekends with family and friends. The house is very comfortable, stylish and well appointed. It is also decievingly spacious. The elevated, wrap-around porch puts you into the tree canopies that line the street around the house giving both privacy and shade. My only request for the house would be to add floor and table lamps for reading in bed or in the living rooms. Otherwise, fantastic.
Owner response:We were happy to host your "working" group and look forward to future leisure visits to the area. Chris and Stephanie

I was lucky to be able to host a wedding for some very good friends. I live in Cloverdale and had seen the enormous amount of work done on this beautiful piece of history right here in Cloverdale. Through my good friend Stephanie I was able to book this home for my friends and their family to stay for their wedding weekend. There was three states represented staying in the house that weekend. Pasadena, Ca., Naples, Florida, and Denver, Co.. Everyone had nothing but good things to say about this great home. First, great A.C.. very important for that weekend. Very comfortable beds, lots of room to spread out, and comfortable furniture out on the veranda once it cooled down. Close to everything including the farmers market and live music Friday night. I can assure you that all of my friends staying here would love to come back. I personally have talked to local friends and have told them to let their friends and family know about this wonderful option for a place to stay in Cloverdale.
Owner response:Thank you Tina, we are so pleased that your group of friends and family enjoyed this amazing property as much as we have. Thanks again, Stephanie

We were thrilled to be the first guests to stay in this wonderful home this past weekend. We attended an event in Healdsburg and found this house to be very comfortable and conveniently located. It only took us 8 minutes to get to Dry Creek Valley, and the drive was spectacular. The house was spacious and very well equipped. We loved the beds and found them to be extremely comfortable. Walking over to the coffee shop in the morning was a treat and our teenagers loved that the movie theater was practically across the street. We would highly recommend and plan to stay here again.
Owner response:We are looking forward to your return. Thank you for being such wonderful pioneers!
