For the water sports lover, you can rent wave runners and explore the Gulf of Mexico, charter a boat and catch some world-class salt water fish, or kayak through the wildlife preserves. For the land lover, there are bicycles to rent and many trails to explore the island's wildlife, two great golf courses that challenge every golfer, or plenty of local shops and restaurants to visit.

My family and I live in Chicago and have loved Sanibel for 27 years. We finally purchased 8 years ago and love our second home. We hope you will too. We just added another condo at Pointe Santo and it is located in the same building, same floor, same great layout but different decor. I wanted to reach out and tell you that we had a wonderful time at your condo in Pointe Santo. The unit was super comfy and the beds provided us with dreamful slumber. Pointe Santo itself is a very nice complex offering a meticulous pool and beautiful shell strewn beaches. We thoroughly enjoyed the onsite bbqs which allowed us to cook lunch daily and 3 dinners. Enjoying our dinners on the condo patio, complete with lagoon and beach views was a definite plus!
Recommended for:Families with young children, romantic getaway.

We enjoyed our one week's stay VERY much! The condo was the cleanest we have ever been in and the spot on the island was excellent for all of our activities. The owner and rental staff were very helpful through email and phone calls. We had beautiful weather (90 - 92 degrees) and enjoyed the beaches, shelling, hiking, Ding Darling, shopping, etc. The condo is close to everything. Restaurants are available for all tastes. We enjoyed hiking on the Bailey Tract which is just a walk away. We saw many shorebirds and even an alligator there! We swam in the ocean, which was also highly visible from the lanai. There are art galleries close by and we used Jerry's supermarket, a short drive away, for our extra needs. This was truly one of the best vacations that we have ever had. We have been telling our children about our adventures and they all want to go with us next year! The entire Pointe Santos complex is amazing and the condo, again, was superior. We would recommend this unit to everyone and will definitely be returning with our family.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
