First floor Garden apartment with air conditioning in all areas including living room . Located in front of a beautiful swimming pool with one of the two hot jacuzzi in the complex. Do not paid extra charges for dryer and washing machine. It is included in our price. Complex has 24-hour gated community. Aquatika has 7 beautiful swimming pools one of them is a river pool and a water park equipped with water slides open on Saturday and Sunday. Complex has gym, beach BB-Q's and direct access to the beach. Located at only 22 minutes drive from the San Juan International Airport, accessible through beautiful scenic route 187 into the town of Loiza. It is located 12 minutes from The Outlets Shopping Mall and Super Walmart Center; 18 minutes from Isla Verde Strip Hotels and casinos; 27 minutes from Condado Strip Avenue; 20 minutes from the only tropical rain forest in the Caribbean, El Yunque; 30 minutes from Old San Juan ; 27 minutes from Fajardo ferry to go to Culebra or Vieques Islands.

We recently returned froma week long stay at a condo in Aquatika. The property is located in a gated community with beautiful pools, lush tropical gardens, and great playgrounds for children. The condo was fully equipped, clean, and comfortable. The owners were extermely friendly and hospitable--even meeting us at the airport to escort us to the property, and calling us acouple of times diring the week to see how things were going or if we needed anything. Since Aquatika is about 25 minutes from San Juan, a rental car is necessary to get to restaurants, entertainment, and sightseeing.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children.

The unit is immaculately clean. It is very comfortable and conveniently located. It was nice to have the 3 bedrooms. The pools are crystal clear and the grounds are maintained amazingly. The beach is nice, the kids would swim in the pools on their way to the beach. They enjoyed the waves on the beach. The unit is located about 15 min from El Yunque and about 20 min from Fajardo. It took about 20 min to get to Old San Juan and about 10 min to get to Pinones. We went out during the day and returned to the gated community in the evening (after dark) and we never felt un-safe in Loiza or anywhere else that we visited in Puerto Rico. The community also has a basketball court and two sand Volleyball Courts. There is also a mini-golf course setup with some challenging holes. We enjoyed the unit very much and Freddie was very nice to deal with. We enjoyed renting the unit very much.Owner response: Dear Shawn: Thank you for leaving the unit in excellent condition. We were in Puerto Rico w/ our 3 boys and our nephew for a 8 day working vacation. This condo served as an excellent retreat for the family, and a great launching off point for San Juan, the great beaches to the east and west of this condo resort, the rain forest managed by the NPS, shopping, and other attractions. The condo itself was very clean and is furnished w/ modern appliances and furniture. Unlike other condos we considered, this condo offered well working AC in all the bedrooms and the main living space. The condo was also equipped w/ a stacked washer/dryer unit, which with our three little boys we put to good use. In short, apart from a blow dryer that we did not find (and I think that was in the list of amenities) all of the other amenities described in this property's listing were present, accounted for, and in clean/ready to use shape. The clean, modern, and well equipped nature of this condo was a real plus for us. The rest of the resort property was just as impressive. The landscaping is gorgeous and meticulously maintained. The pools are both numerous, well laid out, and clean. The several play grounds on the property have modern equipment and are safely laid out for children to play while parents either participate with them or watch from the many surrounding park benches. I'd say only two things about the rest of the resort property stood out as at all falling below expectations. First, for whatever reason, they only heated one of the three hot tubs we saw on the property during the week days, and it was the one furthest away from our condo unit (not exactly a big deal, but we noticed). Second, when considering how well groomed the rest of the resort is, the beach area on the ocean, while definitely clean and usable was not quite as groomed as you'd expect. Other resorts I've been to made a point of combing the beaches for sea weed, etc., removing old coconuts, etc. each day. Truthfully, neither of these points were real issues, but in an attempt to do my best to give the good with the bad, these are the only somewhat down items we noticed during our stay. Finally, a word on the owner, Freddie. He was great. He met us at the airport to help us to the condo, even though we landed at midnight. He followed up in a totally non-overbearing way to make sure everything was going well, and to inform us of things to see and do. All in all, Freddie was very pleasant, welcoming and professional.Owner response: Thank you for leaving the unit in excellent conditions. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to plan a quiet family, or friends, getaway. The grounds are very well kept and the pools are beautiful. Although we did not get to spend too much time at the pools, they are perfectly kept and look like a lot of fun for kids, as well as, adults. This place is located about 30min-1hr away from the ferry to take you to the other islands for a day, El Yunque Rainforest or downtown in Old San Juan. The mountainsides and the views are beautiful which makes these drives easier. Aquatika is 15minutes away from the simple essentials such as WalMart. Mr. Freddie and his wife are wonderful hosts and full of information. Freddie met us at the airport and guided us to the condo by way of the scenic route along the beaches. The little beachfront located behind the resort is perfect for sunrises and quiet moments. I would recommend this stay and just remember anywhere you go in Puerto Rico, don't rush.....you don't want to miss anything! Thank you, Freddie......WE WILL RETURN! Our family of 4 stayed in Aquatika for 5 nights and I have nothing but good things to say about this place and our stay. The owner Freddie is very professional, friendly, very attentive and responded to our every mean of communication with urgency. It is very rare to find people who are so customer service oriented like Freddie. He met us at the car rental to drive us to the unit and was very patient and pleasant. It had been many many years since our last visit to the town of Loiza so I was a little hesitant to book in this area. I contacted a local police officer in Puerto Rico before booking to make sure it was a safe place to stay. After our conversation I felt more at ease and once we got to the area, I quickly realized I had nothing to worry about. The area around Aquatika felt very safe, it's in a gated community and there is police station a few feet away from the main entrance. We travel often and no matter how clean a room or unit may seem, I sanitize every light switch, every handle, chairs and toilet seats before we settle in. This unit was immaculate. My sanitary wipes were ALL clean by the time I was done. No sign of dirt or dust. The unit was very clean. The condo was well equiped, the decor and the colors made us feel we were on a vacation. We found clean bath towels, beach towels and linens. It was so much better than staying in a hotel!! It was the first time my husband and I slept so well in a very long time. When we woke up we felt fully rested. We are not sure if it was the pillows, the bed the sun in the morning or what. But we felt fully recharged each morning!! The pools in Aquatika were very clean and the water was nice and warm. The pools are open until 1am so it was great to jump in for a swim at night after spending long hot days driving and walking around the island. The grounds were well mantained and it was quiet. We did get to experience the unit on the weekend and it was not loud at all nor busy. You will need a car to get to the good restaurants and attractions, but this place is total relaxation. Treat yourself to the island of Culebra for what I consider one of the most beautiful beach in the caribbean - Flamenco Beach. The port to the ferry is only a few minutes away and a 30 min boat ride. Leave very early, the lines can get long! This unit and Freddie won't disappoint you! Don't hesitate to book. Pleasant place to stay. Nice, quiet (for the most part) and private. Walmart 15 minutes away. Says sleeps 7-8, but utensils, dishes, chairs, etc are not meant for 8. Only bedding is. Pools are great! Hot tubs are not hot, except on the weekends - and then, only the main one at the water slide is. Wireless internet is extra. At the time of our stay, stove vent didn't work and the light with the ceiling fan in the lounge area didn't either. At least I think it was supposed to be a light. Some reviewers say that it is a rough part of town. Maybe??? It is about a 30 minute drive from San Juan, which can be inconvenient, but you really don't interact with the neighborhood unless you want to. Can get loud on the rare evening just outside the fence. A pentecostal church of sorts on one side and an arena of sorts on the other. Otherwise, great place to stay, especially if you don't mind driving. Close to El Yunque which was a fun excursion. Ocean is nice to play in... warmer than the pools. We had 2 kids, 1.5 and 2.5. This is not the first time we rented from Freddie and his wonderful wife or last time we rent from them trust me will be back :-) This condo was even better than the last one. Me and the wife took a week of adult time with her father and his wife our first thought when entering the entrance of he facility was Nice !! police station right there talk about feeling safe :-) security was really nice also once past security gates the view was breath taking very clean ,quite really nice. once we got into or parking spot and walked towards the condo you can just see the vegitation the pools just the type of view you want to see ohhh did i mention clean . so the condo, beautiful just like the other one really nice living room and kitchen the bedroom are really nice also very clean condo as expected, what I really liked most was the glass sliding doors right of the living room you just have a very nice view. the little golf course was really fun and nice. The pools were really really nice no kids jumping all over the place i think we were the only person who used the pool right in front of the condo it was very relaxing also they have kids jungle gym and trust this would be the condo if you have a family to bring the kids to they will not want to leave. I just want to thank Freddie and His wife for all the help they provide for there friendlyness and very nice property they have we will be back you can beleive that next time with the kids. thank you for being a great host,and making our stay a pleasant one.Freddy met us at the car rental and took us to eat a great lunch.what a gentleman he is.he escort us to aquatika and we fell in love with the place.I felt right at home in Freddie's condo.it has everything you need and the beds are very comftable.the pools are great and there is so much to do with the kids: basketball,tennis courts,miniature golf,slides,jacuzzis,great pools.I could go on and on.the security was great,you see them walking up and down aquatika all day,and are very friendly.Freddy would go out of his way to help you in what ever you need it.he even met us at San Juan after we have left to give us our security money.now that's service.you have a customer for life Freddy,we will be staying in your condo every time we go to Puerto Rico.see you next year!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children.

When I began the search for a place for my family to vacation and found this place at first I thought it was to nice to be true...After emailing several owners Freddie was the only one that contacted me ASAP! unlike others, Freddie asked for a little deposit and of course I thought great but then I thought to good to be true... My trip was for July 2011 and I was booking in march. I send my dep via paypal and waited. Before july arrived I recieved an email from Freddie making sure all was going good which made me feel comfortable about the place. As july arrived I reconfirmed with Freddie and still all was good. When I arrived our plane was delayed and freddie waited for us at the rental van and drove with us thru the scenic road of PR very nice. This was a dream come true to my family, clean, comfortable, and beautiful. This place is as he describes it near to everything I couldn't ask for more. It is a great place for families. The pools where great the security was awesome never once did we feel unsafe. I am so happy that I booked this place. He never once came to check up on us totally trusted us and this is not easy so please if your going to rent this property ..take care of it this man is 100 percent legit and I would hate that someone messes with his property. My daughter left her sweater in his car and he made sure to return it before our departure. My next trip to Puerto Rico with family without a doubt will be to stay here thank you soo much Freddie God Bles You and Yours.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

We had a wonderful time staying at Aquatika in Loiza. Our condo was very clean, very big and very comfortable for the entire family. The kids also loved the choice of the 7 pools and lazy river. Our unit had a nice kitchen with all the utensils need, washer and dryer and very nice showers. The air conditioning worked great too. The owner, Freddie, met us at the car rental counter (even late at night) and escorted us to the property. That was very nice, especially when you arrive late and tired to an unknown location.
