I rented this house for my father who is blind so that he would have his own place for his 3 week stay over the holidays. It worked out perfectly and he felt very at home there. It is a nice quiet older neighborhood and even on New Year's Eve there wasn't any fireworks or noise, as there was in my neighborhood in SE Aurora. I have already recommended this house to my friends who have family coming in over the summer.

Four golfers, 50+, stayed at the home in Sept 2011. There was a nice gift basket waiting for us when we arrived. The location was perfect for our needs. All of the golf courses we played were within half an hour, there are restaurants galore on Ilif Ave just a couple of miles to the south, a 125 store mall less than a mile to the east and the city network of walking trails can be accessed by walking a couple of blocks north. We even used public transit on Alameda to get downtown and to the stadiums. The house was simply appointed and very clean. The beds were nice and firm and with a fully finished basement, there was plenty of room in the house. Air conditioning kept the house at the desired temperature. We would definitely stay there again.

Safe & Quiet Neighborhood

My husband, daughter, her husband, their 2 year old and I stayed in this house. I have never felt safer in a vrbo before. This was the fifth vrbo we have vacation in. It is a very quiet neighborhood, but only a few blocks from major streets and highways. I would recommend a good street map of Denver Metro Area, since Denver does have rush hour and constructions at night. We used the map and made it to baseball game, zoo, tours, museums, and friends' houses without any problems and very little waiting. It is a great location for the many things we wanted to do. It has a nice fenced backyard for younger children to play. The only reason I did not mark it excellent was the stairway has no way to block it and our two year old is not real good on stairs yet. So if your children have no problems with stairs to the basement, it is an excellent place to stay. If you want to do something crazy, on E. Mississippi Ave. & S. Potomac St. there is a Goodwill Outlet store. They bring out about 10 bins of stuff about every hour or two. When the store tells you that you may begin, all the people lined up start searching the bins. We got several toys there for $1.49 a pound. It is one crazy experience.

The house was very clean and has plenty of space. We came for my daughter's softball tournament in Broomfield. Lots of amenities including a welcome basket. Close to supermarket, mall and restaurants. We really enjoyed the 3rd bedroom down in the basement which has its own bathroom and a large living area. Will definitely come back again!

We settled over from Europe with only five suitcases and needed a place to start from in the Denver region. We have lived in Aurora for a month and enjoyed it. We found everything we needed in the house, even the soap for the washing machine! The Aurora Mall and a big supermarket are nearby, the Cherry Creek Lake is not too far away and driving to Downtown Denver with its attractions is easily done if you do not get the rush hour.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, families with teenagers.

Overall we give this home a very high rating. It had plenty of space and was in a nice area close to just about everything you would ever need. Unfortunatly the air conditioning was not functioning, making the home quite hot. The owner however, was very kind and worked to ensure that our stay was a pleasant one. The house itself is lovely, and can certainly be considered a home away from home.
Owner response:a new air conditioner has since been installed and is working properly.

The house was comfortable except for the fact that the whole house REEKED of cigarettes. When a home is advertised as clean and smoke free that's what you should get. The owners knew I was bringing my child out there and they didn't disclose the truth of the matter. So if your're sensitive to smoke I would not recommend this home.
Owner response:We were shocked by this comment. We bought the home from a lady that had lived there 40 years and was a non smoker. After purchasing we redid the hardwood, carpeted the basement and painted the entire home. We have had no smoking guests or pets.We are sincerely sorry about her experience.

I recently stayed at this home and it was immaculate. I have stayed at many sub-lease locations and this home has to be at the top of my list. It has everything you need to cook and a perfect location if you are looking for restaurants. It is two blocks from 225 so commuting to work or to the airport is very convenient. The neighbor is friendly and quiet and the house is very inviting. I would have stayed longer had it not already been reserved

I have never stayed anywhere other than a hotel before when going away, so I took a chance. A friend and I rented this house while I was out there for Five days checking out the area. It was great. The place was very clean, and comes stocked with anything you might need while you are there. Towels, pots, pans, Phone book, even down to laundry detergent. There was plenty of space to spread out. Another great thing in the garage space. The last thing I want to do while on vacation is clean of a car in the morning. The location was also great, two min off a major parkway and yet you are on a quiet street. I would stay there again.
