  Thank you Tommaso for making our stay so wonderful.The air conditioning was working very well so I don't understand one of the reviews of your beautiful lofts. The modern design, the spotless accuracy in the cleaning, the very handy position ( main city monuments are walking distance ) and free internet are a considerable plus compar ed to other stays we had in Florence. The fully equipp ed kitchen was really useful since travelling with a 2 year old kid.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car.

  Unfortunately the lofts didn't meet with our expectations after viewing the pictures online. Although the space was clean, it was much smaller than we thought it would be, it did not have internet as advertised (we were told to go to the kitchen for service; the kitchen was one counter top and it didn't work there either) and neither did it have air conditioning as advertised or if it did we were never shown how to get it on and it really didn't appear as if it had airconditioning. It was a warm week when we were there and a disappointment not to be able to relax in air conditioned comfort at the end of a long hot day sight seeing. We would leave the windows open during the day to get some fresh cool air in the unit but had to close windows at night because of the noise of the street. I think 50% of the population of Florence rides a motorcycle! The loft doors are all self locking and only one key is provided per unit so with 5 of us staying in 2 units you can imagine we locked ourselves out once and were originally advised to go to a hotel because the manager of the units wouldn't be in until morning. Pretty hard to do when you've left your wallets and other i.d. in the unit which is locked! We eventually were able to pursuade the manager to come out and let us in. Given all of the above we would not recommend this space to our friends visiting Florence although the location was good for walking to most sites.

I am stunned about to read this! high-speed Internet 24 hours a day for free, like the double keys instead of asking at 23 at night. it seems that even the air conditioning was broken ” it really didn't appear as if it had airconditioning” ..there are air-conditioning split large 80x30cm in each room!! would been just asked and you would be given the remote control I am attaching the temperatures of the period of your stay taken from the Data recorded by the weather station of Florence.   Tommaso was a good host, the apartment (loft for two) was as described and we had a great time. It is in walking distance to almost all interesting areas of Florence, actually, you don't want to have a car, parking is difficult to find and expensive and you run a great risk of finding traffic tickets after you return since many areas of Florence are out-of-limits for cars but badly marked. Once you enter they take pictures and then..... It is 7 min walk from the train station and you can go to Pisa, Lucca, Sienna and so on......

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

  Buonasera Tommaso, I would just like to thank you so much for letting me stay at your beautiful apartment. For the first time since I have been renting apartments in Florence, yours is the first that I have actually enjoyed for its wonderful sense of space and facilities provided.
