This quiet family cabin is located 3 miles Northwest of Garrison on Miller Lake. It is only 20 feet from the water's edge, and has 200 feet of private shoreline. There is a 26 foot private dock right in front of the cabin for swimming and fishing.
Miller Lake covers about 108 acres, with a maximum depth of 48 feet, and has a sandy bottom with a gradual slope. The boat landing is privately owned and has a locked gate requiring the cabin owner to unlock.
The fishing is good for Large Mouth Bass, Sunfish, Crappie, and Northern Pike.
Many great entertainment opportunities are available within 5-15 minutes from the cabin.

- Lakefront : The swimming area is sandy. The water depth is 1 ft at shoreline with about a 1ft per 5ft drop in depth. A new 26 ft aluminum dock was installed in 2007, with cedar decking, swim ladder, and bench on the T.

- Lakeside fire ring and bench swing available for use. A 12 ft. aluminum fishing boat with a 9HP motor is included with the cabin rental. A 22 ft. Pontoon (2006 model) with 50hp Yamaha 4 stroke Motor, luxury seating, 2 live wells, stereo, sun deck, canopy, and swimming ladder is avaiable for rent ($100/day).

This is an ideal vacation spot. The cabin is well furbished and clean. There is a very private atmosphere.We enjoyed the pontoon boat and riding on the lake although our fishin could have been better. They should be very proud of this vacation rental. Even when we had a small problem they were quick to address it. Thaks for a great time!
Owner response:Our guests were wonderful people, and we enjoyed meeting them. The water heater went out while they were there, was remedied as quickly as possible, and they were very nice about the inconvenience. We hope to see them at the cabin again next year!

What a great way to spend a vacation. The cabin was nice and clean and the location was excellent. We enjoyed fishing, swimming and relaxing out on the porch looking at the lake. Probably one of the most relaxing vacations we've had. We are looking forward to going back again sometime.

Comment Text: I love how private this spot is, and yet just minutes from shopping in Garrison. There is woods on 3 sides, yet plenty of yard for cars or kids. You can relax on the deck looking at the lake, or sit inside and watch the family come in on the pontoon through the big window. I’ll be back to sit on the dock with my feet in the water!
