We had a great vacation at the cabin. The Pontoon was a great deal and ran perfectly and was lots of fun for cruises around the lake and a way to find the fishing holes. Caught a variety of fish, Blue Gill, Large mouth Bass, Crappie, and even a couple of catfish. There was a lot of cool sights including the Eagles nest and lots of deer and wild turkey and a giant snapping turtle who hangs around the dock at times. The cabin had everything we needed for our cooking adventures. The only thing we missed was our nightly news (only PBS channels) and the bunk beds were a little small for our Boys (18,23 both over 6'3") but we made due with the nightly campfires and a dvd movie before bed. Becky was very kind and helpful every time we contacted her prior to the stay. The town was close for our bait and food runs. Overall great time.

as most of the others said > it was very nice, we relaxed alot. It was peaceful, comfy , very basic but yet warm. The owners are very pleasant & took care of our minor boat motor concern as best they could. Fishing was very good. We caught 13 northerns , 12 bass, and 6 panfish, and did not spend much time at it ( 2 hours/day). We recommend this place to anyone. We watched about 15 hours of old Bonanza episodes from their extensive movie collection. ;)

This was just what we needed. The cabin is wonderfully equipped with all you need. The Bed in the "master" bedroom was so comfortable I got some of the best sleep I have had in a very long time. Very clean, Very quiet and very private. Very few people were on the lake when we were there. Ken and Becky have a wonderful place. I would recommend to everyone. It is a gem. We will definitely be back! Thank you so much for the re connection between Eric and I and the wonderful memories we made with our friends!! If you chose this place you need to also rent pontoon..it is perfect! Very clean and perfect for sunbathing or fishing!!!

This is an ideal vacation spot. The cabin is well furbished and clean. There is a very private atmosphere. We enjoyed the pontoon boat and riding on the lake although our fishin could have been better. They should be very proud of this vacation rental. Even when we had a small problem they were quick to address it. Thaks for a great time!

Owner response: Our guests were wonderful people, and we enjoyed meeting them. The water heater went out while they were there, was remedied as quickly as possible, and they were very nice about the inconvenience. We hope to see them at the cabin again next year!
What a great way to spend a vacation. The cabin was nice and clean and the location was excellent. We enjoyed fishing, swimming and relaxing out on the porch looking at the lake. Probably one of the most relaxing vacations we've had. We are looking forward to going back again sometime.

Comment Text: I love how private this spot is, and yet just minutes from shopping in Garrison. There is woods on 3 sides, yet plenty of yard for cars or kids. You can relax on the deck looking at the lake, or sit inside and watch the family come in on the pontoon through the big window. I’ll be back to sit on the dock with my feet in the water!
