Our rental home is a short drive to many attractions such as; Bushkill Falls, Jack Frost and Big Boulder, outlet shopping, restaurants/bars, white water rafting, paint balling, ATV riding, and many others. There is something to do for everyone, no matter what time of the year it is!

After building our first Pocono vacation home and enjoying at much as we do, we decided to build a second to rent. The community the rental in is great and offers so much for both owners and renters to do.

Short walk from the lake, beach, pool, arcade, and community center. We love the entertainment on the weekends and the deck parties at the clubhouse in the summer.

I thought long and hard about writing this review, because, as much as I'd love to, I couldn't rate this house as 5 stars. I will go over the pro's first, as this house has very strong points. - Central A/C - so few houses have that in the Poconos, but heat waves do happen, and we were lucky to have air conditioning. - Good size bedrooms. The master accommodated two twin blow up mattresses for our kids, the downstairs bedroom is HUGE, the other two rooms are also of good size. Many houses claim to have 4 bedrooms, but you find on arrival that it's actually 4 walk-in closets. Not the case here. - Nice, clean bathrooms. No mold issues, no rusty hardware, good water pressure. - Enough drive way for 4 cars. - Walking distance to the lake/pool/club house. It's about a 15 minute leisurely walk. Now, the Cons. The cons are minor, but added together they do spoil the overall impression of the house. - The mattresses are very soft. It's a pro if you're used to that. So perhaps I shouldn't list it as a con. But we were not comfortable at all. - The mattresses are so squeaky! I didn't check, perhaps they had mattress protectors on them. But we felt like we were sleeping on plastic. The sheets that we brought did nothing to cover up the sound. Annoying. - The acoustics in the house are phenomenal. Be careful what you say to each other in the privacy or your bedroom. People in other bedrooms will probably hear you. - The cookware in the kitchen is on the beat-up side. The teflon pans had scratches, and that's a health hazard! On the bright side, it was adequately stocked. I just wish the owners would invest a bit to update it. - The HOT TUB, oh the hot tub. It was one of the selling features for us, but, unfortunately, we could not use it due to overwhelming chlorine concentration. Once we opened the cover, we could barely breathe. - Not enough dining room seats! The house does sleep 11, but there's one tiny round table for 4. Luckily for us, we noticed that from the pictures, and brought an additional folding table with us. But, and it's just my opinion, I wish the owner would stock a folding table and chairs. We had to use bar stools and computer chair and anything else we could find to seat ourselves. Same story with the deck table - only seats 4. Well, that's it. Overall, we had a great stay. The cons are really not deal breakers, if you're prepared. The owners are nice, the area is nice. Just be ready for the quirks.

Since your review we have went out and purchased all new cookware - pans, etc. As far as the hot tub, we make certain that it is thoroughly maintained prior to each check in, maintenance includes re-chlorinating it. This house met all of our expectations! We couldn't be any happier. We went the last weekend in March and had a blast. The location was great and we visited the community club house, had a great dinner and danced all night Saturday night. We will definetely be visiting again. Thank you for everything!!
