Our cottage (SOUNDS FISHY) is a well furnished, bright & comfortable sound front home with MILLION DOLLAR VIEWS. It's a canal front which offers boaters a great place to tie up their flat bottomed boat (up to 23 ft) parked right at the bulkhead and ready to go harvest the bounties of the sound. From Sportsman's Village, it's just a short 30 minute run to the inlet and other great fishing grounds. You can also enjoy the free kayaks to explore the sound and canals. If windsurfing is your bag, then all you have to do is walk across the road to access the best winds on the east coast.
To a beach access, we are less than a mile to a walkover that provides showers and a bath house. Either way you will find SOUNDS FISHY a great place for relaxing, boating, fishing, crabbing, windsurfing and enjoying everyday life on Hatteras Island.
