Location: Healdsburg, Russian River, Sonoma County, Wine Country, California, USA (20 Minute Drive To Downtown Healdsburg, Off of 128)
Accommodations: House, 4 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 3 Baths (Sleeps 10-11)
Keywords: House
This beautiful 4+ bedroom, 3 bath Wine Country home with sweeping valley views was remodeled in spring 2006. Everything in this home has been updated, including an incredible kitchen makeover. There are views from every room. The expansive outdoor decking and gardens are framed by large windows and sliding glass doors. Private, yet within easy reach of all of Northern Sonoma County’s attractions, the home’s layout is perfect for a large family gathering or for just a few friends.
Located on a hilltop with 180° views of the Alexander and Dry Creek Valleys, the home is contained within a peaceful 1000+ acre reserve of private homes.
Enjoy a swim and a picknic at the lake in this reserve, with a sandy beach, a 5 minute drive or 15 minute walk from the house.
The home, accessible by an easy 10 minute drive from U.S. 101, it is just off Highway 128, a favorite cycling route, is 5 minutes from downtown Geyserville, 20 minutes from the Healdsburg Plaza, 20 minutes from Lake Sonoma, and 15 minutes from numerous vineyards in the Alexander and Dry Creek valleys, including Silver Oak, Ridge, Unti, and Rafanelli wineries.
This Geyserville contemporary ranch home features two master suites, located at opposite ends of the home for privacy, one with a California king bed, the other with a queen. Both bedrooms have modern en suite bathrooms. In addition to the 2 master suites, there is one bedroom with bunk beds and a Cal king, another room with a queen pull out couch, and a den with a twin trundle bed. A third modern bathroom is in the main hall near the den and one bedroom. All told, the house can sleep up to 11 people comfortably.
The living room with vaulted ceilings, expansive glass, comfortable sofas and sitting areas, and wood burning fireplace opens into a large dining/kitchen area. The dining room table, when expanded, can easily seat up to a dozen persons. Both the living room and dining areas have large sliding glass doors connecting to the deck, and providing stunning mountain and valley views. The copper topped kitchen counter provides a welcoming space, be it for breakfast or for cocktails. Meanwhile, the 6 burner Dacor stove, LG French door refrigerator, and soapstone counters will entice even the most hesitant cook into the kitchen to prepare delicious wine country cuisine.
The home comes with every amenity---2 TVs with cable, DVD and VCR, and a laundry room with a large capacity washer and dryer. The home does not have WIFI or high speed Internet; none of the homes in the immediate area do. But, dial up is available, and cell phone reception is good.
While it is easy to stay in the house, enjoying its comfort, style, and amazing views, the 6+ acre outdoor area is also a jewel. Comfortable lounge chairs, outdoor sofas, and umbrellas bring the living room outdoors. A level lawn provides a green oasis and play space, and then opens to an arc of fruit trees, including multiple varieties of plums, pears, apples, figs, lemons, oranges, and, of course, grapes.
No smoking or pets are allowed.

The property is a great place to escape, with a full kitchen, long dining table enough for 10-12 people, plenty of seating areas, and outdoor entertaining areas. The owners are helpful were quick to respond to questions.

While looking for a rental home for an engagement party of 10 people, I came across this website. I had high hopes, so did everyone else. This house did not disappoint. The house sits on a hill with a breathtaking view. The sunrises are spectacular, either viewing from inside or out. The living room is lined with windows to enjoy this picturesque view. The kitchen is amazing. Open and spacious, so jealous I don't have that as my own. You have every appliance possibly needed. And for you coffee lovers - there is a coffee machine for every type of coffee desired - from espresso to cappaccino to fresh ground to regular. And I have to say that long table was great to have during dinner. Everyone sitting around talking, discussing, and joking - we had the whole table rolling with laughter. For breakfast, we used the outside dining table, it was just awesome. The beds themselves were nice and comfy. Loved the down and fleeced blankets. Also, you can take a nice, strong, hearty walk to the lake. They have a clubhouse where you can have a picnic, grill, play tennis, volleyball, swim in the lake, etc. The vineyards are not too far, there are several within a 10 mile radius. All in all, it was a great house, great location, and I would definitely stay there again! We even recommended to several people while we were out wine-tasting. If you are looking for serenity and quietness, this is the place. If you are looking for something that is spacious, modern, and equipped, this is it. You will not be sorry.

We stayed at this beautiful and well appointed house for a long weekend with friends and it couldn't have been more perfect. The house is spacious and the views are spectacular. The gorgeous open kitchen and oversized dining table created a perfect setting for the 8 of us to cook and dine together. The decks on the back of the house were a great place to chill out with a good book or just relax and soak in the beautiful view. The house is clean and well maintained, and the furniture is tasteful, modern and comfortable. This is the second time we've stayed in this house and we hated to see the weekend end. It's an ideal getaway and I would definitely recommend it to others.

Four friends stayed at this very clean home last weekend while up in wine country. The home feels huge, due to the layout and furnishings. There is a kitchen table that seats 12 and a master suite off to one side of the house. The photos on the site are accurate. We were very happy with our home choice for the weekend. The house is about 15 minutes from Healdsburg and closer to Geyserville. We really felt like we had a large house in the country! Owner was very easy to work with and quick to respond to questions. We would gladly return.

This home worked wonderfully for our 2nd annual "Girls Gone Wine" weekend, with 8 women (combination of sisters, cousins & childhood friends in our 50's). The bedrooms and sleeping arrangement allowed most of us to have our own bed (difficult to find since most houses are set up for couples sleeping together). And there was plenty of bathroom space for all of us to get ready. We were all able to gather around the kitchen table at breakfast or relax out on the deck with wine & cheese. The home is beautifully decorated to feel warm and sophisticated -- I'd be happy to live there full-time. Our group went walking in the neighborhood (finding a house with clever artwork integrated into the backyard which was fun for us to explore) and we went for an easy hike at the nearby Vineyard Club. The house is set up the in hills but is an easy drive to restaurants & wineries. The owner provided all the information we needed to fully enjoy our stay. I would highly recommend this property.

This is the second time I've stayed at this spacious Sonoma Co. home and I'm sure I will be back again. What I love the most is the large, well-appointed and fully functional kitchen and dining area. We really enjoyed creating meals for 8 adults and sitting down at the large table and sharing a great meal together with beautiful views off the back deck. The location is far enough out there to feel quiet and secluded, but a short drive to several excellent wineries in the Dry Creek Valley appellation, the locale for some of California's best Zinfandel vineyards. We've visited a bit late in the season to enjoy the lake club, but it looks live a fantastic place to spend a warm summer day. Maybe our next trip will be during the summer months. The house is ideal for four couples, every couple has a private room, but the house can easily accommodate two or even three families of four as there are beds for up to 12 and abundant carpeted floor space. And if you're like me, laying out a sleeping bag or quilt on one of the daybeds on the back deck and spending the night under the stars is a treat, so count two more places to sleep. It is a great place for a large family gathering. If you cycle, it's a great spot to start a tour of the area's many lightly trafficked back roads and beautiful scenery, but take a tip and start and end your ride down the hill from the property and use a car shuttle to get back up to the house. The last mile or so is quite steep, at least 10% grade in places, maybe more. Makes for beautiful views at the house, though.

The house is beautiful, we enjoyed the views and the wonderfully equipped kitchen although we didn't do much cooking. Each room done in such a comfortable and thoughtful way. Opening the drapes and watching the sun rise was really a treat! The pears and figs were amazing. The tiny bit of rain did not dampen our adventures. We really enjoyed the weekend. I think it will be a repeat for family members. Hope we can come and stay again when we don't have to be rushing off to rehearsals, wedding or whatever. Truly a place to relax and enjoy. Thank you.
