This is the lowest priced 3BR home on VRBO! Realtors have told us we should be asking $1400/week but you can book as low as $995! Why? We are new at this - 2010 is our third year of vacation rentals and our goal is to make this your yearly beach tradition. I am hoping that you will rent it, love it, treat it as your own, and return every year - just like our other returning families!

This first floor newly renovated home is comfortable and affordable. The upstairs is rarely used so you will generally have the place to yourself. You will enjoy off street parking, a front porch with seating, wireless internet, an enclosed outside shower with hot & cold water, and a locked storage area for bikes and beach supplies. The large kitchen is updated and fully equipped. A large stainless grill is located just outside your kitchen door along with outside tables and chairs. Cable, Central Air and a full size Washer and Dryer are also included.

BEACH: You'll have an easy walk (about 2 blocks) to a section of the beach that is protected and easily accessible. We provide 6 beach tags (not needed for kids), toys, boogie boards, umbrella, a cooler, and a beach cart.

BAY: Keep your BOAT in the driveway and launch it across the street at the public dock and boat ramp (where you can sit with your feet in the bay and enjoy the sunset on those days that you make it back from the beach in time). CRAB and FISH from the dock, watch the crew teams practice, rent a jet ski, or launch a kayak.

HOUSE: One bedroom has a QUEEN size bed and a television. The second bedroom has a BUNK bed with safety rails, the third bedroom has a KING size bed that converts to 2 TWIN beds (your choice) and an additional television, table, and 2 chairs. The living room sofas recline and there is plenty of additional seating for family and friends (a bistro table with 2 chairs, a counter with 4 stools, and a kitchen table that sits 6 or more). This home is clean and family friendly – nicely decorated with sturdy furniture, new carpet, paint and window treatments. The kitchen and bathroom have been updated.

LOCATION: Walk just about everywhere: Church, WaWa, Joe's Market, Root Beer Barrel Surf Shop, Rita's, Laguna Grill, Carmine's (try the crab fra diablo pizza), Library, Elk's Lodge to enjoy their crab fest and pancake breakfasts, and, of course, the Beach. It's an easy 5 minute drive (or cheap cab ride) to Atlantic City; 20 minutes to the Ocean City Boardwalk; and easy train rides from Atlantic City to New York City or Philadelphia. Our international visitors especially enjoy the easy access to big east coast cities.

But most people visit for the beach - If you know the island, you know that many “beachfront” properties may entail a 15 minute trek through the dunes with all of your stuff before you even hit the beach (which may or may not be protected). You will have an EASY WALK (less than 2 blocks) to a PROTECTED BEACH that is easily accessible. Once you’ve baked a bit, be sure to stroll to the Laguna Martini Bar, hose off the sand, treat the kids to a water ice, and settle in with a rum runner (get Maria to make it, or if you want to see her fume, ask for a "pain-in-the-ass" and tell her I sent you).

In Brigantine you will find uncrowded beaches, protected bay swimming with diving boards and a slide, a scottish links golf course, miniature golf, public basketball, volley ball, bocce and tennis courts, playgrounds, an arcade, a skate park, boat and jet ski rentals, bay and ocean fishing, crabbing, surfing, surf lessons, off season beach horseback riding, the Marine Mammal Stranding Center, the Brigantine Wildlife area, beach bars,good food and fun people. You won't find glitz or crowds -but if you like that scene, Atlantic City has Casino's, Boardwalk, Outlet shopping at the Walk or Upscale shopping at the Pier, World Class Restaurants, beach bars, dancing, the House of Blues, the Convention Center, Top Name Entertainment and spas. Borgata is the most lavish but you can't beat the $190 spa day at Bally's (includes lunch, 3 treatments and use of the gym, pool, sauna, whirlpools, steam room and lounging deck overlooking the ocean). There are plenty of nearby golf courses with varied terrain.
