Our family offers the hospitality of our Sea Colony condo because it helps us fulfill our dream of owning a bit a paradise in Bethany Beach. We're not a business. We don't make a profit by renting our home when we're not staying there.
It's comfortable, it's warm, it's inviting......it's our home.
Our condo is a short walk to the private, guarded beach, Market place, pool, award winning tennis facility.....park your car and walk to most places. Or if you prefer, hop on the tram that runs all day, seven days a week in season. Take a evening stroll into town, walk to the library, pick up groceries, dine at a variety of close by restaurants, relax with a delicious coffee, yummy pastries, refreshing beverage or ice cream from 2 ice cream shops and bake shoppes.....all walking distance.
Sunny, breezy and inviting, first-floor condominium with a large deck overlooking Swan Pond has an open and sunny feel. Tastefully furnished, this 2 bedroom, 2 bath easily sleeps 7. Relaxing and stressfree bliss.
Use the convenient steps from the deck to stroll around the pond and watch the soothing display of nature. Swan Pond is home to fish, swans, ducks, geese, and heron. We have morning coffee on the deck and begin each day enjoying the calm of nature.
If you must cook on vacation, the fully stocked kitchen makes it easy. Dishwasher, ice maker, blender and so much more....even spices and coffee filters! If you like, whip up a quick meal on the small Weber charcoal grill. New central air conditioning, 3 ceiling fans and a breezy location ensures relaxing comfort.
Many extras to make your vacation convenient and stressfree. Don't bring beach chairs....we have them for you to use. Enjoy DVD and VHS movies and shows for the entire family. Games, puzzles, books for all ages......there are even blow dryers in each bathroom....don't bother packing your!
Serene, sand and surf decorated, living room, with it's queen size convertible sofa, has a TV and DVD player with an large library of movies. A perfect spot for quiet moments of solitude or to get together with friends. The Tropical theme master bedroom has an indulging queen size bed with a brand new comforter set. The second bedroom contains full and twin size beds allowing for flexible sleeping arrangements. Both beds also have new comforter sets. Each bedroom has its' own TV and VHS player along with an extensive selection of movies for all ages.
Conveniet to everything at the fraction of the cost of ocean front. Your car is just steps away from the front door. No need to use a rolling bucket when you arrive and depart.

Playing in the sand at the beach was always our favorite thing to do as children. What we didn’t realize at the time, was how it became the foundation of our happy childhood memories. As parents, we quickly realized that vacations at the beach create warm, happy visions. We wanted that for our family and quickly selected Sea Colony in Bethany Beach as the perfect location……a safe, secure place where our children can have the independence to come and go freely. We wanted an open, sunny place where we could easily stroll to the beach and walk to all the amenities. A comfortable condo….a place that we could call home. The beautifully landscaped property doesn’t make us feel closed in and the convenience of being only steps away from our car makes arrival and departure stress free and simple. We systematically selected our condo on Round Robin Way…..bright, cheery, a large deck overlooking Swan Pond….an ideal condo in the perfect location. We couldn’t be happier and we’re sure you’ll find our home, your vacation location to create joyful, happy memories.

The air conditioning is new and works like a charm or if you prefer, the condo has 3 ceiling fans! Listening to the water feature and nature in Swan Pond is so relaxing and peaceful.
From its' Sand and Surf themed living area to the Tropical themed master bedroom and the adorable Children's room.....your vacation at our condo will be relaxing and rejuvinating!!

Our family not only loves the beach, but also really enjoys doing many different things.....swimming, tennis, shopping, basketball, antiquing, picnicing, mini golf, concerts, movies…..sometimes, we just like to sit on the deck and watch the swans and ducks. We start off every day drinking coffee on the deck....it doesn't get any better than that.
Sea Colony is truly a complete resort with loads of amenities, and from our bright and sunny condo, most activities are just a short stroll away.
We cherish our time there.....de-stressing, rejuvinating or simply relaxing.

My husband and I went for a mini vacation and it was truly awesome. View from deck is the swan pond, place is so cozy and clean. We really enjoyed our 4 days and could have easily stayed another 4 or more. Location cannot be beat. Can walk or ride your bike to the beach. What more can one ask for. I would recommend this to anybody. Excellent communication with the owner and feel like I have known her all my life. Will definitely stay there again. Don't forget to sign the guest book :)
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children.

The location was good, as it was across the street from the Tennis Center. If you are a bit sensitive to noise, this unit is not for you. We had a family in the unit above us, and each morning the kids sanctioned a Track Meet! Even when the specific events were not taking place, each foot step was squeaky, to the point, that I had to go upstairs and ask the people to be mindful that they were not the only ones in the building. It seemed that the older phase units where this is located, had a cheaper design, which made no attempt to stifle the noises from other units. As for the unit itself: the Queen bed mattress was soft, and should be replaced. The sofa in the living room sags quite a bit to the middle; maybe the Furniture fixit product would help. The Beach chairs that were noted, are not Beach chairs, they were chairs one might sit on while fishing, or watching a kid's sporting event. The 4 legged chairs will simply sink in the sand; I had to buy a couple of Beach chairs. In closing, you may get lucky and not have people in the unit above you; however, next time, I would opt to stay in one of the units further away from the Tennis Center, as the shuttle stills takes you to the beach, no matter where you are, and by the looks of the newer units, they look more solid, and will most likely afford you a little more tranquility.
Owner response:This is the first that I, or my management company, has heard that there was any dissatisfaction. Regarding noise from people upstairs - Most of the time, you can't even tell that here are people in the condo above. On the rare occasion, some renters above are heavy footed but this can occur in any of the phases throughout Sea Colony. We've stayed in the newer phases, farther back and have heard the upstairs people. There appears to be no noise difference in the phases and we would never give up the convenience and ease of being able to easily walk to the beach. For the most part, people are aware that they are in condos and are respectful of the people around them. The rest is purely person taste - The Queen size bed in the master bedroom is extremely comfortable and decadent. If your preference is a very hard bed, then you may not like the indulgent feel of it. It's in perfect condition. I've actually thought about switching it with my bed at home. The convertible couch was purchased 2 years ago and the mattress is in very good condition. It's actually more comfortable than most. You don't feel the bar across your back. It is however, a convertible bed and none will ever feel as comfortable as a regular bed. The beach chairs are wonderful for the beach. These are the ones my family uses all the time. They are more comfortable, lighter and easier to carry. Once again, it's personal taste. This is the first time that I've had any complaints. Comments are frequently how relaxing and comfortable the condo is. The location is fabulous and providing beach chairs is an added bonus. Currently, we even have beach umbrellas. Although since they tend to break, we don't advertise that they are there.

My family and I stayed here. It was perfect for us. The community is very quiet. We walked alot in the evenings. The convience of walking to the store, beach pools and even to the Boardwalk and feeling safe was wonderful. The landscaping of the community is beautiful. We were right by the pond and the sound of the fountain when sitting out in the morning was very calming.People who worked in the community were very helpful when answering questions. The house was clean and it accomidated 7 of us very well cosidering the age difference of our party.The homeowners were very quick in to responding to my emails and answering any questions that I had. I would highly recommend this rental property to other families.My family and I plan on making this a yearly event.
