The Red Rocker is sure to fast become your Lake Burton getaway! The main cabin, built in 2004, has been made even more inviting with the winter '07 addition of a large master bedroom with slate and granite bathroom. Also added is a 20x18 screen porch complete with stack stone fireplace with gas logs, two ceiling fans, and flat screen TV with satellite and DVD. In the beginning weeks of '09, construction of a stone patio for outdoor dining and grilling was completed. The finishing decorative touches will be made and ready for spring. We continue working to improve Red Rocker in an effort to insure the comfort and enjoyment of our guests. It is our hope that Red Rocker will be a memory maker for many years to come.
Within approximately 15 minutes you will reach the town of Clayton with wonderful shopping and restaurants in many directions. There is also one of the few remaining drive-in theatres near by in the town of Tiger. Charming Anchorage Marina is less than a mile from the cabin and offers survival shopping, boat ramp, and watercraft rental. In addition, LaPrades Marina is within approx. 10 min and also offers watercraft rental. Also at LaPrades you can enjoy fine indoor dining with an extensive menu. Casual dining is offered on the lovely, open air deck overlooking the lake.
When you first see Red Rocker with its red tin roof and, yes, red rockers on the front porch, you are certain to feel at home. Once inside, its unique charm and open beam construction welcomes you. There is a stack stone wood burning fireplace in the family room, antler chandeliers and fixtures, and even a bark covered tree trunk banister leading upstairs to the loft.
There is plenty of room with 3 bedrooms (one with king bed, one with queen), and loft bedroom with two twins. Each room with its own large bathroom with oversize walk-in showers. The queen bedroom even offers a large jetted soaking tub. The master boasts its own private, side deck which offers additional access to screen porch. All furnishings are new and chosen for their beauty and comfort. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need to make a great meal. All linens are provided for your convenience.
There are three flat screen TVs with satellite and built-in DVD players. You will even have internet access. With the beauty and splendor of the STILL FULL Lake Burton, you can't miss!

- Lake View: Nice winter views, but limited summer views. Yet close enough to hear boats, laughter, and lapping water. Those traveling with small children would have the security of not being at waters edge.

Rate Details (In US Dollars)
Apr-Dec .. $1400/week .. $450/2 nights, $195/night each additional.
Jan-Mar .. $1000/week .. $350/2 nights, $150/night each additional.
Two night minimum.
Above costs plus 7% Tax.
Refundable Security Deposit $500.
Pet Fee $50. (Well mannered dogs welcome)
Exit cleaning fee $95.00
