This condo is a top floor PENTHOUSE unit with 1,050 square feet and soaring 20 foot ceilings. You can enjoy ski slope views from the balcony and living room. Recent upgrades include stainless steel appliances in the kitchen, a 47 inch LCD TV over the fireplace and a Blu-Ray Player. The master bedroom features a KING sized bed with a high quality mattress, new bedding for 2010, 40 inch LCD TV with DVD player, and private bathroom. The secondary bedroom features a high quality KING sized bed with new bedding for 2010 and the same quality mattress as the master. It also has a 40 inch LCD TV a DVD player. There is a dining room table that seats 6, a comfortable couch with sleeper sofa and three comfortable chairs. There are many little extras in this unit including a baby/toddler Pack-n-Play, three high-end humidifiers, and a boot warmer to dry out ski and hiking boots after a long day of play.
VIEWS **** (5 Stars) This condo features unique stair step windows in the living room, which give you mountain and ski slope views. The cozy balcony also has views of Dercum Mountain (aka Keystone Mountain) and ski views. The master bedroom has two windows. One window looks out to Dercum Mountain and the other window has an amazing view of the Gore Mountain Range. Please see additional pictures. The secondary bedroom features one window that overlooks the River Run village and in the distance you see mountains.
PROXIMITY TO ACTIVITIES ***** (5 Stars) This condo is approximately 100 feet from the River Run village which features many excellent businesses including restaurants, shopping, bars, winter and summer sports rentals, and great people watching. It is also approximately 150 meters to the new high speed, eight passenger gondola. In your ski boots and carrying your skis, it will take about three minutes to get to the gondola.
BUILDING QUALITY & AMENITIES ****(4 Stars) Dakota Lodge was completed in the late 90’s and is one of the more exclusive buildings in the resort. This means there is less congestion in the building during busy times and all units are a short walk from the elevator. There is one high speed elevator that services only 67 units. Some other buildings have one elevator for over 100 units. There is an access controlled underground heated garage. Laundry facilities are located on both the second and fourth floor. This building also features the largest heated pool in the resort and the two largest hot tubs in the resort. The pool and hot tubs have views of Dercum Mountain and the ski slopes. There is also a sauna on the first floor. The sister building to Dakota Lodge is next door and guests in Dakota have access to the game room and gathering areas in Buffalo Lodge. The game room features several pool tables and tables to play games such as chess and checkers. The gathering areas are beautifully decorated and have ample seating on couches and living room style chairs for large groups.
NEW FOR 2011: For an additional fee we now offer XBOX 360's, Playstation 3's, Nintendo Wii's and the NEW iPad 2. Rent one of these amazing devices and let your kids have a blast while you relax. We have child-proofed the condo by placing outlet covers over the electrical outlets. We also purchased top of the line humidifiers because we come from a humid climate, and it is very dry in Colorado. If you are traveling with children, we also have a pack-n-play and a stroller in the condo, so you don't have to bring them with you. There is also a selection of DVDs in the condo for you to enjoy. In the winter, you will enjoy the boot warmer to dry your boots after a long day of skiing.

Great top floor condo. We stayed during the off season and loved the peace and quiet. The views are spectacular and the condo is well appointed with stainless appliances, good furniture, and very comfy beds. Really we could not ask for anything more.

This condo has it all. There are beautiful ski slope views. The high ceilings on this top floor unit really make you feel like you are in a top notch place. The condo is packed to the gills with everything you would expect and more. The closest are completely filled with stuff you might need on your trip. This is especially good if you are coming with small children. There is a stroller, pack-in-play, air matress, lots of blankets and pillows, fans, humidifers and so much more. Flying back and forth was so much easier since we only had to bring cloths and not all the extra kids stuff.

OK - here comes a bit of a ramble, but you'll get the point...We (2 adults one toddler) stayed 7 nights in June 08, and we were extremely satisfied with the accommodations. It was very quiet, clean and spacious. The owners are great and happened to be leaving as we were checking in; so it was nice to meet them. Everything about this stay was easy. The pack-n-play was great. We used the humidifiers and fans which are a nice touch. Underground parking was very useful. There is a good mix of movies and a great Sony Bravia TV. Plenty of kitchen cooking stuff for all your needs. During the summer, Keystone is a great quiet family place. We traveled to Breckenridge twice (maybe 20 minutes away) and Vail (35 minutes away)once. We used the pool / hot tubs 5 times and had fun watching the humming birds do their thing. I got in a half-day of downhill MTB'ing and was very impressed with the trails (advanced-rider, not expert). The local bike rental shop is a 3 minute walk from the room and has very we'll maintained bikes. We will be staying there again. Best Regards, Jim

We stayed in this condo for 4 nights and we could have stayed 4 weeks! My son had his own bedroom and washroom while my husband and I stayed in the Master suite at the other end of the Condo. It was so quiet and peaceful (I expected to hear party-goers at a ski resort). We had some friends join us from Colorado Springs and my son moved to the hida-bed in the living room, while their son used the inflatable mattress. Our friends had stayed in condos at Keystone before, and they marveled at the spaciousness and quality of this place. It couldn't have been a better vacation for us! Great skiing, great views, great place! We'll be back!

Pictures don't do this condo justice. Beautiful, spacious & just steps from all the action. 5 minutes from the door to the slopes. Can't wait to go back.
