Balmy January on the Beach at Tuscany by the Sea

Tuscany by the Sea was a lovely, comfortable, and convenient home away from home for us in January. We were delighted to find everything just as the owner described -- beautifully decorated in Tuscany style, immaculate, fully equipped and oh so convenient kitchen and laundry, and yes, only a few steps from the widest, cleanest beach you could ever want to stroll on. The Master Suite has a big double bath with his and hers sides -- giant tv, comfy chaise lounge, and a comfortable king size bed. From here we could walk out onto a private boardwalk leading to the beach. In addition, there are two attractively decorated guest rooms each with bath. We thoroughly enjoyed our month long stay at Litchfield taking in such attractions as Brookgreen Garden and Huntington State Park as well as dining out at the many good restaurants in the area. The owner could not have been more helpful, kind, and generous and we look forward to returning.

Our touch of Tuscany at the beach

Our family of 6 stayed there in July 2010 and had a fabulous time !!! The location was perfect, the pool close by and the beach just steps away !! Everything you could need was already there from beach chairs and umbrellas to boogie boards. Linda was a fabulous hostess and did everything posssible to make our visit relaxing and enjoyable.We look forward to visiting Tuscany again and hope to make it a longer stay next time.

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Thanks so very much for the beautiful space to relax and enjoy our 2009 spring vacation. You have attended to every detail and we appreciated everything your home offered as well as the surprise welcome basket! You are so thoughtful and it shows in everything you do. Your home and the area are simply beautiful so thanks for sharing your home. We played golf at Tradition, True Blue and Willbrook, went to Brookgreen Gardens a few times (lots of photo ops) and took the cruise to Georgetown lighthouse, as well as some mini excursions around the area. Also enjoyed our yearly family cooking while gazing out at the ocean....how often does that happen?! And got to see the dolphins as well. It seems like it was a long time ago since so much has happened since then. So thanks so very kindly, Linda. Hopefully some day we can get back to Litchfield. Dear Linda, I just wanted to take the opportunity to thank you again for your southern hospitality and making us feel so at home by allowing us to stay in your beautiful home. We live in Southern Indiana and had never been to Myrtle Beach. The trip was well worth the wait. We loved Myrtle Beach and the time we spent with our kids and the friends they brought along. Especially enjoyable was the Nascar Park and Broadway at the Beach. The moment we arrived inside the condo our kids screamed with delight. We brought along our three kids ages 16, 14 and 13, and each brought along a friend. So each teenager and friend had there own room and this worked ideally. The four girls were so excited!! They couldn't believe they had their own private bedroom, tv, dvd player and restroom with shower to themselves. The boys were equally excited watching the March Madness on the Plasma TV and camping out on the sleeper sofa upstairs by themselves. The best part was my husband enjoyed a lot of alone time since each of the kids had their own space and friend along. We left the screen sliding door in our bedroom open just to listen to the ocean waves. THE BEDROOM WAS BEAUTIFUL, TRANQUIL AND WONDERFUL. It was peaceful taking coffee outside and just sitting on the dock near the beach. Looking out at the ocean it made your think about God's presence and how he made all things. I transgress. The home was so well supplied we didn't have to bring along anything. We only went to the Piggly Wiggly across the road to get snacks and goodies for our breakfast. Thank you again for the wonderful experience and hope we get to come back again soon. PS I read about your home on Vacation Rentals by Owner. Linda, I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our "girl's weekend" at your lovely condo. The style and decor was just absolutely wonderful - nice to be at the beach for a change without the "typical" beach furnishings. The beds were so much more comfortable than even mine are at home! The location was terrific, and all of the facilities were just the best, and we all had a wonderful time. Thank you for providing such a remarkable and relaxing place. The four of us will certainly recommend your unit to all of our friends, and we hope to come back someday ourselves.

HI Linda, We had a great week at your place. The townhouse is beautiful, very comfortable and quiet, plenty spacious for all 5 of us. The layout is really unique and comfortable. The beds and linens were terrific! Coffee pot just like at home - fresh ground beans! You were so helpful in making the arrangements, and with our many questions. Hi Everyone, We went on our family vacation a little late n the year and the weather was not the most cooperative. The condo was beautiful though. I was pleasantly suprized when we opened the door. The pictures online do not do this place justice. It was very clean and well decorated.I am picky aqnd so is my husband. We will be back. the only trouble I had was sleeping because my mattress is firmer.Otherwise it was very comfortable. the owner is a very nice person to talk with. Its worth the rental. Lisa

We were so very please when we walked into the condo. So beautiful and extremely clean. I felt right at home immediately. The view from the balcony was so lovely with the view of the ocean and tropical landscaping. I also received a massage from Diane Zimmerman from VERSAILLES DAY SPA in the master suite that was just fantastic. It was made even more perfect with the stone waterfall running on the dresser and soothing music in the background. My daughter and her friend were so pleased to have their own rooms that were so beautiful. Everyone having their own bathroom was a huge plus. Thank you for providing our family a wonderful place to experience our vacation. The boys, my husband and I enjoyed all the experiences, even the mystery of the wedding ring bouncing in a hole under the vanity and ending up in the wall.. Our 11 year old angler was at first disappointed because we could not get a charter for deep sea fishing. But after he caught a shark from the beach he was more than excited. Your suggestions on dinner were wonderful. We went to the Mayor House. Our 8 year old was so inspired by the mood in the restaurant he stated, "I am going to use by best manners." And he did! It was enjoyable to watch him order his own food and place his napkin in his ap. He wanted to make sure he used the right fork and knife. And he loved the She Crab Soup. Our final evening we went to Landolphi's. Our 13 year old and pickest eater excitingly said, "This is the best food ever!" We ate pizza and order four different desert to share. My tastebuds are still dancing. Again, we would like to thank you. My husband and I were able to relax and the boys had a fun time. We will definitely visit your lovely home on the beach again.

The place is fabulous. Very quiet, clean and relaxing. This is the second year we have stayed here and we could not ask for anything better. I can't remember vacations so relaxing. It's a short walk to the beach and a short drive to some wonderful restaurants.

My family and I spent the first week of June in the Tuscany By The Sea. This is a gorgeous facility. Very tastefully decorated. Linda though of everything. She was fantastic, always pleasant, providing information and answers to any and all questions at any time we contacted her. Everything you need is taken care of for you if you are spending the day at the beach, pool or in the villa. Pool and hot tub is extremely nice for all family members. We had a little bit of confusion on the first day and used the pool for the near by unit. However, the pool for our unit was much nicer once we located it on the second day. Beach was a very very short board walk away and was also wonderful. Beach was not crowded at anytime we were there. My entire family had a wonderful vacation and we did not want to leave at the end of the week. We made one day trip, but spent most of the time right on site. If you are looking for a very very nice place to relax slow down and just enjoy your family you will not find a nicer place to stay. Respectfully, Ray and Stacy Minor

My husband and 8 year old daughter spent a long weekend in April at your lovely Tuscany by the sea.The spacious accomodations are suberb!You have thought of absolutely everything to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable.The master bedroom is private, cozy and romantic.The bed was sooooooo comfortable!The view is beautiful at any time of the day.The pool and grounds are very well cared for.The spa tub was nice and hot!We tried many of the local resteraunts that you recommended and were very pleased.There is alot to do in the area.Our favorite place nearby was the Brookgreen Gardens.What a lovely and peaceful place.We spent many hours walking through the gardens,the sculptures are amazing and of course we loved seeing all of the animals too.The beach is wide open and wonderful.We just want to say Thank you again for sharing your little piece of heaven with us.You went above and beyond to be sure everything was perfect.We hope to return again soon. We spent a week in this lovely condo with our two children and our three grandchildre. It accomodated us perfectly with room to spare. Tuscan Villa is immaculately clean (we own an Inn ourselves so our standards are very high)and provides every amenity one could want. Our hostess was exceptionally helpful both in the planning stage of our vacation and after we arrived as well. The beach was wide and beautiful and the pool lovely and very clean. We couldn't have found a more perfect place for a multi-generational vacation. We hope to stay there again someday.

WOW!!!! The pictures on line do not do the ROMANTIC Tuscany by the Sea any justice. My wife and I spent a well needed weekend getaway here during April 08 and was already thinking of the next time we wanted to come back, before the second day. You have to try the in house massage, it was the most relaxing and romantic his and her massage. After 19 years of vacations and getaways with my lovely wife this one has to rate in the top 5. Trust me when I say you wont regret it.

My mother, grandmother and I visited the Tuscan Villa in early Sept. 2007 and had a ball! The property was immaculate and beautifully appointed with every convenience. We found the access to the beach very easy and when we weren't lounging there we were investigating the several restaurants that Linda recommended -- my highest marks for her good taste! I can't say enough about the property's high quality and Linda's high standards. She was a truly gracious and attentive hostess, and gave us many good ideas and lots of information to assist us before we even arrived. I highly recommend this property for your own vacation rental.

This condo is great for those who still wish to visit busy tourist spots but prefer more open beaches. The ocean was great in early October for swimming due to the well-maintained beaches. I also did not have to swim so hard against currents like those on Pawley's Island. We spent many hours on the bike trails visiting Hunington State Park and Brookfield Gardens nearby. Linda purchased beach umbrellas and lawn chairs so you do not have to bring those with you and we really appreciated that. It was very clean and well-furnished. Linda also represented it perfectly when we spoke to her and via her website. We have been mislead on previous vacations but not here! She also provided a gas grill that we used for several great meals at home. I would recommend this property for those who are seeking a condo atmosphere that is enhanced by very nice landscaping and a beautiful ocean view from the living room.

We vacationed in June and had a beautiful time. The villa was comfortable and the location was perfect. My parents enjoyed their early morning walks on the beach. My daughters loved playing on the very clean and quiet beach. My husband and I enjoyed drinking coffee on the balcony and reading books on the beach. Everything was great and what a pleasant surprise to be greeted with a dozen white roses as a welcome.

The Tuscan Villa is beautifully decorated and in an ideal location for a great beach vacation. Everything there is first class. I enjoyed early mornings on the balcony with a cup of coffee and a good book as the sun came up. Our family had a wonderful time there.

We absolutely loved Tuscany by the Sea. It is a perfect place to go to relax and just enjoy being in a beautiful condo. It was furnished so nicely, with very comfortable beds. Everything was so clean and looks brand new. The owners did everything possible for us. I think they would arranged perfect weather if they could have done so. Linda checked to see if all was well and when she found out the weather was not going to be perfect, made arrangements so our grandson could swin inside at the Resort. My husband and I can hardly wait to go back again. Thanks again.

This is the second visit we have had to the Beautiful Tuscan Villa. we can truly relax and refresh ourselves. It has become our home away from home. I love the fact that I can watch the Ocean and Nascar at the same time. My wife enjoys the private chaise lounge after coming back from the Day Spa. We love our evening stroll on the beach and back to the Villa. It is hard for me to relax, but this place does it. I sleep like a baby.The owners have been very gracious and see too that all is just so for us. Very pampered. My wife wants to go back already. Mr. and Mrs. J Bordier

If you are looking for an elegant oceanfront vacation spot, look no further. This condo has all you could possibly want! Private, quiet, elegant yet simple, comfy yet impeccably clean. Lying in bed that first morning and looking out the window to see the sun rising over the ocean... it made me feel very peaceful. We had breakfast out on the balcony, to the sound of the ocean, the smell of saltiness in the air. Wandering out the bedroom door, the beach was just a 2 minute walk thru the palms, past the pool and onto the soft white sand. A wide beach where you can walk for miles. Very low key, quiet and serene, and just a short drive too the attractions of Myrtle Beach. Of all the condos and time shares I've stayed at, in the Caribbean, Florida and Hawaii, there has been none nicer or as well maintained as this one. I highly recommend it!

PARADISE FOUND.VERY ROMANTIC!!THIS PLACE IS THE BEST. VERY BEAUTIFUL,EVEN BETTER THAN EXPECTED. STUNNING OCEANFRONT VILLA,IMMACULATE. SO PRIVATE EVEN WITHIN THE TOWNHOME. THE BEST WAS THE LOCATION WHICH WAS VERY PRIVATE. MARTINI BAR. THE LOWER LEVEL HAS A GROUND FLOOR TROPICAL GARDEN OASIS. VERY SHORT WALK TO BEACH. ALL THE BEDROOMS ARE SPECIAL BUT THE MASTER IS OUTSTANDING. VERY COMFORTABLE. DEFINETLY COMMING BACK AGAIN TO THIS WONDERFUL PLACE. ROMANTIC!!CAN'T WAIT. MY HUSBAND LOVED THE PLASMA TV AND SPORTS CHANNELS TOO.I LOVED THE CUISINART COFFEE POT TO GRIND YOUR OWN FRESH BEANS. I WENT TO STARBUCKS AND GOT A MESSAGE TOO. SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE. THE OWNERS ARE VERY CARING AND TRULY MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE YOU ARE ON VACATION EVEN BEFORE YOU GET THERE. THEY ARE VERY ATTENTIVE AND CARING. OUR NEW FRIENDS/FAMILY.
