  The owners really maintain this lovely cottage. It was adorable and clean. About a mile from the beach. I spent the week with 3 teens. While they slept in each morning, I watched sunrises and lobster fishermen on the deck while enjoying my coffee. Peaceful, quiet, tranquil mornings, it was a heavenly place to be. I feel asleep each night to the waves crashing on the rocks. It was a wonderful week. Having a washer and dryer was also a huge plus.

  This charming cottage on a quiet dead-end street by the ocean is everything described and so much more! If you can pry yourself away from the deck,[ that is maybe 30 ft. from the water], there is something for every member of the family in close proximity. Fishing, beaches, shopping, restaurants and the Block Island Ferry. The rental is clean, and is stocked with everything you will need to simply walk in and enjoy your week, from wine glasses to beach towels, beach chair and coolers. Will and Maddie have thought of everything. The rental is also pet friendly so if you are like us, and view your four legged friends as family, this is the place to come! *Note: It is worth it to get up early enough to see the sun come up over the water at least one day, it will take your breath away. The gentle rhythm of the waves will lull you to sleep at night. We plan to come back every year. This is a very special place, we highly recommend Will and Maddie's cottage by the sea.

  This was a wonderful place for our family, including dog, to spend the week. The owners were very accomodating and the neighbors were friendly and helpful as well. We loved the house, the ocean view (the dog absolutely LOVED being able to hang out on the deck all day and enjoy the breeze), the neighborhood and the location, which was convenient to many beaches, attractions and restaurants. Everything was super-clean and any questions were immediately addressed. We would definitely recommend visiting the Narragansett Town Beach, taking the ferry across to Block Island and bringing bikes and kayaks to use right there in the neighborhood. Just a lovely spot!

  This was our 3rd straight year in a row for renting this home. We always enjoy it and look forward to relaxing here. During the year, we come back to this web site to mentally go there!! The owners make sure that your stay is perfect. It truly feels like it is your home.

  Our family really enjoyed our week in this Oceanfront Home. We loved spending as much time on the deck as possible. From breakfasts through evenings after dinner it was lovely. You can see the Newport Bridge on one end and the Point Judith Lighthouse on the other side. The house is close to several great beaches and resteraunts. We also enjoyed renting kayaks and standup paddle boards on Narrow River. One week was far too short. Owners were lovely and communitive and responded to any concerns immediately. We would definitely rent this home again.

  Our adult children joined us for a wonderful family reunion at this immaculate cottage. The deck was so spectacular that it caused a problem..... my husband refused to leave it. He opted not to go to the beach in favor of reading on the deck. Ice cream at Brickley's lured him off of his perch!! The kitchen is well stocked with every appliance and cooking utensil imaginable so we ate many of our meals in ...... on the deck!! We walked to the beach and played Bocci there in the evening. The beach towels and chairs were a great bonus. We took the ferry(3 miles) to Block Island for the day and rented bikes.We also drove to Newport(25 min) to tour a few mansions and take the cliff walk. There are plenty of great places to eat but our favorite was Trio. Will and Maddy are very personable, conscientious and hard working owners! They take pride in their place and it shows. We will be back but next time I will pack a rope to pull my husband off the deck!!! : - )working owners! They take pride in their place and it shows.   We spent a week in June here. The cottage is exactly as advertised and the owners/renters are good people who love the house and treat it well. You can travel to all the nearby attractions, but you'll find yourself coming back over and over, night and day, to the glorious deck, which someone described as "like being in the prow of a boat."

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children.
