You will enjoy relaxing and taking in the views from the screened-in sun porch and deck or be lulled to sleep by waves crashing in to shore. This beach house is just a short walk from the sandy beach. You can bring your beach chairs out onto the sandbar, take a beach walk down to the jetty to watch the boats cruise into Pilots Point Marina, or sunbathe on the beach.
A brand new vintage kitchen and newly renovated bedrooms will add to your beach vacation experience. It is close to the Clinton and Westbrook Outlets, Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun Casinos, Mystic Seaport and the Mystic Aquarium. There are wonderful nearby restaurants and you will find plenty to do in addition to the beach.

Year Purchased: 2007
My husband and I have vacationed in Westbrook for the past 33 years. We always dreamed of owning our own beach house and in the fall of 2007 we purchased this house. We totally gutted the upstairs adding insulation and beadboard paneling to the walls. We renovated the upstairs bath, adding a new tile floor, and a new toilet.
On the first floor we gutted the kitchen and put in a "vintage" kitchen with modern amenities. We have granite countertops and stainless appliances. We feel it is very comfortable and affords a spectacular view of Long Island Sound from the sunporch, kitchen, dining room and the front bedrooms.
Why the Owner Chose Westbrook
Grove Beach in Westbrook has the best beach on the shoreline. It is a long, sandy beach great for walking. A sandbar comes out at low tide which is wonderful for kids and grownups alike.
