Great place, very peaceful, great beach, could not have been better. Everything we needed was there. Gourmet Kitchen, great fixtures, simply huge luxurious master bedroom.

Nice property. Poor management!
Owner response:This guest stayed with us last year and was very satisfied with the property. At his request we were holding dates for another visit later on this year with no contract or deposit. We accidentally rented one of those days a few weeks later due to an incorrect check-out date in a previous email thread. This is easily avoided in the future by simply completing contracts and deposits at the time of booking.

This is truly a dream vacation spot! Our family has enjoyed all that this beautiful penthouse has to offer- breathtaking views, a fabulous kitchen and a warm,welcoming feeling. The sunsets are amazing and we always enjoy our walks on the great white sand beach!

We had a delightful stay at the Sunset Beach Penthouse and would definitely recommend it to others. Patrick is accessible and very accommodating. The house is beautiful – extremely spacious, nicely decorated and pristine – and the view is unparalleled. We especially loved waking to the view, walking the beach, and enjoying the lovely sunsets. The days we were at the Penthouse, the weather was unseasonably cool and rainy, but the house is a pleasure to be in and the view is always inviting. The computer and phone system in the house are definitely assets, as is the video/stereo system, even though it’s a bit complicated to figure out. We ate out all but one night and especially enjoyed the Luna Café. All in all, we were very happy with our decision to stay at the Penthouse and look forward to a return visit sometime soon.Regards,Joan/Jim, CT Diane/Tom WIPS The only suggestion we’d make is perhaps having two keys available when two (or more) couples are staying together.

Gorgeous home with all of the right amenities for a great vacation. My wife and our two kids stayed in the Penthouse over the week of October 26th and were treated to spectacular sunsets and great walks on the beach. The kids fished in the surf everyday (and actually caught some fish). Pat was great to work with and spared no expense on building and furnishing this home. We definitely plan to come back again. I would highly recommend this place! A friend & I came for a quiet girls "getaway", and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. The beach was beautiful (sunsets to die for) and not too crowded. The house was amazing. Since we were doing a lot of sitting/relaxing, we especially appreciated the furniture - comfy rockers on the porch from which we could enjoy the view while drinking coffee in the morning & watching the sunset at night...great beach chairs to enjoy the sun out in the sand...and a relaxing recliner/couch in which to doze off at the end of the day while watching the killer TV! The kitchen had everything we needed (although the 2 dishwashers were overkill because we didn't want to cook!). Really appreciated the computer access too since we didn't bring a laptop. The neighborhood was great, and we also enjoyed St.Pete Beach as well as John's Pass, and lots of great seafood restaurants - never had a bad meal! Pat was great to deal with and we are grateful to have found this home!

We stayed in this unit the week after Thanksgiving, 2009. This place is spectacular!! The owners have spared no expense in outfitting the home with everything one could possibly need or want while on vacation. The unit is perfectly located in the quiet neighborhood of Sunset Beach. The beach was at our doorstep and the view of the sunsets from the balcony was breathtaking! The community itself is mostly residential (no major hotels that I recall) but still very close to many shops, restaurants, etc. There are a few small local restaurants/bars within walking distance of the home, but a 5 minute or so drive will take you to the main strip of Treasure Island which has many other options. Madeira (John's Pass) and St. Pete beaches are also within a short drive from the home. The unit itself was beautifully decorated but at the same time was very comfortable...you could still kick up your feet and relax without worrying that you were going to break something. The elevator provided convenient direct access to the unit and this was really helpful with having our senior dog along for the visit. He was very appreciative of not having to go up and down those stairs! And yes, can you believe this home is pet friendly! We've stayed in many pet friendly homes during our travels and this one is a rare find. The owner (Pat) was a pleasure to deal with and we would definitely recommend this home to other vacationers. We hope to visit again!
