This house has everything!! Screened porch, decks, great kitchen ( we cooked two incredible meals and ate on the deck overlooking the mountains) amazing views from every room, plenty of space to stretch out and read, play games, or nap, challenging , fun, hiking right out the front door (wild azaleas and dogwoods were incredible), kayaking all over the 2.8 mile perimeter lake, seeing geese, beaver, fish...just wish we had had time for tennis and swimming...Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

The most relaxing and welcoming home overlooking the - hands down - most beautiful view I have ever seen. No matter the weather, the view is glorious. The bedrooms are lovely, private and feel just like home. The great room and kitchen are, somehow, cozy and grand at the same time. One of the neatest things was reading the heartfelt notes and sincere messages of thanks of previous guests in the little guest book near the dining table. It was obvious that we weren't the only ones who made wonderful memories there.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

We stayed at Dramatic Mountain View for a girls weekend and had a superb visit. When we arrived we were all impressed by the view of the mountainside off the back porch. Later in the evening we had a delicious grilled supper on that same screened in porch. With no threat of mosquitos, a large outdoor dining table, and even candles we were all set. So enjoyable! The kitchen was large and well equipped, lacking nothing. It was open to the rest of the living area which made for good visiting while preparing meals. The living area was comfortable and nicely equipped with a stereo system, etc. We had more than enough seating for our group to sit together and visit. We didn't fuss over who would get which bedroom because they were all very comfortable with adequate space, etc. And the linens were soft! The bathrooms were large and clean and the washer/dryer came in handy after some of our outings in the summer heat. The lake in this beautiful private neighborhood is also a huge asset. Our group spent hours on the dock enjoying the beauty, the sun, lots of swimming and a bottle of wine!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.

This place is awesome for relaxing & enjoying downtime with friends & family. We took many walks and sat out on the beautiful screened in porch where we enjoyoyed our meals. The house is very clean and the beds are so comfortable. The view from the porch is spectacular and we enjoyed the serenity & privacy. We saw lots of birds and really spent most of out downtime on the porch enjoying the solitude. There is lots if privacy around and inside the house. The wood burning fireplace is wonderful to curl up in front of in the evenings. The kitchen is very modern and we ate all our dinners here. The house was spotless when we arrived and it had everything we needed. 2 thumbs up ! We love it here and will be back! Thank you for sharing your lovely home!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

Thank you for an amazing mid-winter vacation. We want to book again this summer and I'll be contacting you shortly! This is the ideal location for a couple or a crowd. A great great room in the center of the house and then private quarters throughout. And the porch and the view took my breath away. I can't wait to see it in another season. We especially liked the kitchen -- it was outfitted with all we needed -- so we were able to all cook together and then had a wonderful dinner in front of the fire. Again, many thanks for all the nice touches in the house -- you made us feel right at home. We'll see you this summer!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

What a great weekend! Loved the fact that this cabin in the woods is totally secluded from all of its neighbors, but it's just a short walk through the woods to the pool, playground for the kids and tennis courts. The cabin setup was great for our family with an open, airy central living space and master bedroom separated from the kids bedrooms. We used the heck out of the kitchen which had everything we needed. And the view is nothing short of spectacular! We spent most of our time relaxing on the screened in porch/deck just soaking in the view. We love the area and try to get up there at least once a year, but will not stay anywhere else from now on if we can avoid it.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.
