This home is a short walk from the beautiful Gulf of Mexico and offers its own private pool and courtyard for your maximum vacation enjoyment!! The Great Escape is on one of the largest lots in Rosemary and has a professionally designed and landscaped HEATED POOL for your use!!
The Great Escape offers 3 stories of living space PLUS a separate carriage house. Five bedrooms, five and a half bathrooms [4 King bedrooms and one bunkroom with 4 single beds(each with its own full bathroom and television)]. This spacious home sleeps 12 in the main house and 2 more people in the carriage house. The home is centrally located so you can enjoy all the amenities of Rosemary Beach including 4 pools, 8 clay tennis courts, fitness center, spa, walking trail, playgrounds, and 4 beach walkovers. The home is on a boardwalk with beach access 300 yards from the front door.
The First Floor offers Expansive living area with 42"TV and plenty of comfortable seating, Formal dining area with buffet, Study/den has a queen size sofa bed and can be closed off for peace and quiet. Gourmet kitchen and breakfast area equipped with commercial appliances, including large refrigerator, Thermador gas cooktop, Bosch dishwasher, ice maker, wine fridge, oven, microwave, and plenty of supplies. The main level also has a half bath and 2nd washer/dryer.
The second floor has Three bedrooms; 2 King bedrooms with their own full bathrooms and covered decks, kids' bunkroom with four single beds and its own bathroom. Media room with whole house stereo system.
Third Floor: Master Suite; King bedroom with sitting area and 32" TV. Master bath with separate vanities, master closet with front loading washer/dryer and refrigerator.
Carriage House: King bedroom with sitting area, full bathroom and full kitchen.
Outside: Covered front porch, with swing and Adirondack chairs, water feature, gas grill, shower, Large swimming pool with private courtyard and outdoor living area.

Why the Owner Chose Private Homes
After vacationing in Rosemary Beach for a number of years, we decided to purchase a home here. We looked at a number of homes, but we fell in love with the location and design of this home. The original owners built this home to live in and no expense was spared in decorating the home by a professional decorating firm from Atlanta. The four of us love the unique quality of the Rosemary Beach community and we think you will love it too! An incredible place to unwind and relax!!
The Unique Benefits at this House
Being from Atlanta, we love to park our cars for the week and go everywhere we want on foot or bike. There are coffee shops, restaurants and a lovely spa within a one minute walk.
Our kids can have MUCH more freedom to explore the community than they can in the hustle and bustle of a big city. Of course, Rosemary is one of the most beautiful beaches in the WORLD!
We added the wonderful private pool and french doors from the kitchen to the pool which make for a wonderful open floor plan!

My extended family of 11 (grandmother to teen to toddler) stayed here and it was perfect. The walk to the beach is very easy and we loved the pool. It was so nice to have the pool there after a day at the beach. The kids could swim and the adults could cook and have cocktails. The decor is very nice and pretty and the photos do not capture how spacious it is. There was plenty of space for everyone to hang out without being on top of each other. The bedrooms are very nice and arranged very well. The carriage house is great for a couple or maybe teenagers who want more privacy. Would definitely stay here again!

We are a large family - four adults, teens, three children...11 in all. Great escape was perfect for all. We have been to Rosemary numerous times and this was, by far, our favorite place to stay. Location could not be better. Very short, pleasant stroll to beach. Owner was wonderful to address any questions. Kids enjoyed the lovely pool. They always say "pictures do not do it justice"...and in this case it is true. We had high expectations but found everything even better than pictured. Pleasant surprise

We have a large family including young grandsons, so Great Escape was a near perfect fit for us. The pool proved to be a wonderful addition to our week....a short walk to the beach was easy, and having the boardwalk right out the front door was helpful with little ones and their riding toys. Safe and quiet! We cooked in most nights, and the kitchen was well-equipped.....we really enjoyed sitting on the front porch or in the back looking out on the pool, mornings and evenings with coffee or cocktails! The absence of bathtubs was surprising in a house so large, but we managed just fine, baby boys learned how to shower at Rosemary! It was a really fun week at a nice house in a great location. We would definitely choose Great Escape again!

We enjoyed a wonderful vacation in Rosemary Beach. The walk to the beach is pretty and enjoyable. There were eleven of us (six adults and five children) and all of us loved the area and your spacious home with a great location! It was our first time to vacation at Rosemary Beach and we plan to return next summer. Thanks for renting your beautiful home to us. Everything was just perfect!!

What an awesome home. We were so lucky to find this property. There were 9 of us and it was PERFECT! Having the pool made it great when the grandchildren went down for a nap, The home was gorgeous, and the bathrooms were so beautiful, the beds and pillows were so comfortable and the location was perfect. Marsha the owner couldnot have been nicer. I had so many questions prior to going and she was always there to answer them. I am an interior designer and when I tell you this house has it all. Our son is a chief and he loved the kitchen and all of the equipement. Hope to go back. The resturants Onano and Paradis were fabulous. Thanks for all you did to make our vacation so PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!!! Fran in Germantown, Tn.

This house was absolutely amazing! We enjoyed a fantastic vacation in Rosemary and this is a great house! The house is bright and extremely well decorated. Little extras like ice machine and 3rd floor fridge made it feel like staying at the Ritz. The pool is a dream and we ate many meals outside. Good location - very easy to get to the beach right down the boardwalk and a 30 second walk to get a cup of coffee and breakfast. We will be back for sure! THANKS for sharing your house with us!

Wow! What a fantastic house for a beach vacation! The house is professionally decorated and beautiful! It was so nice to have a beautiful pool at the home with great places to eat and hang out. The kitchen is well stocked and you can whip up a gourmet meal with ease. Easy access to the beach down the boardwalk makes it a perfect location. We enjoyed a great girls weekend and will be back again!!

We spent our Spring Break here with 3 other families. The house was beautiful and the design of the house allowed for us to never feel on top of each other. There are several areas to escape in the house including several beautiful balconies. The kitchen is certainly a goumet kitchen with everything you could possibly need. The kitchen and dining room areas allowed for us to seat everyone at meals at the same time. The pool was well used, and at the end of the week we realized we had not even used the community pools once. The location of this house was very convenient to everything especially Wild Olives restaurant and the specialty stores. The location of the house on the boardwalk was also very convenient for the kids to get to the beach by themselves. We would certainly rent this home again!
