Villa Grace is brand new for 2008 and is situated at Cavros, just off the national road between Rethymnon and Chania. A bus service runs every 30 minutes or car hire and taxis are plentiful. The villa is situated 600m from the beach and with easy travel by car or bike to Lake Kournas for a special day out with the turtles and turquoise waters.
Walk along the winding roads and smell the herbs that play with your senses. The villa has been furnished to an extremely high standard and after the owners have visited Crete for the last 18 years it is certain that Villa Grace is in the perfect location. The golden beach, the large pool, a quiet corner of the garden or the privacy of the first floor terrace ensure this is a holiday destination for everyone. The pool is maintained daily and everything is in place for your perfect holiday.
The evenings can be spent in or out. Cavros has many tavernas, supermarket, car hire, bakery for that early morning hot loaf or just 10 minutes away is Georgopouli with an even larger choice of bars and restaurants. Twenty five minutes in the car and you can soak up the history of Rethymnon and shop till you drop. Tavernas abound here and a drink overlooking the port or in the old town is a must. Chania is in the opposite direction and this historic harbor town is another must to see and do.

- Close to Lake Kournas, the only freshwater lake on Crete, you can hire a pedaloe and view the turtles in the turquoise waters or laze the day on the bankside. Tavernas abound here and the magnificent mountains create an amazing backdrop for you to explore on foot, on bike or in the car. The beach is only 5 minutes and is 6km of golden sand. The water is shallow for over 200m and ideal for children. Watersports and diving are close and beach tavernas serve local food at amazing prices. A beer at 2.5 Euros, ice cold is common and the beach offers tranquility and peace. NOTE there is an area close by where naturist sunbathing is permitted in the sand dunes.
