Owner's Profile

Owner Description

I have lived in Albuquerque for over 20 years and enjoy telling people about the area. I was the owner of a local wholesale bakery for the past decade and am very familiar with places to dine and things to see. We keep a notebook at the house so you can see the many options. We love nature and the valley offers some special places to see, besides being close to Old Town. We encourage you to ride the bikes we have at the house and call of us at any time if we can be of assistance.

Why the Owner Chose Albuquerque

This house is one of the original Candelaria burrough homes and existed when the homes were fewer and existed in the farmland setting. There are many houses around now, but it is fun to know and imagine what it was like. The streets nearby actually still have some working fields so you will get the rural images of this productive river valley land.
