We love the fact that we can walk anywhere from our home. You are minutes to everthing La Jolla is famous for,it's village, shopping, the cove,the best restaurants,tennis courts, galleries, and much more. One of the nicest wide sandy beach is just down the street. The Beach Barber Tract is a fabulous location with known for it's Old world character, historic homes and charming streets. Like us, you will also fall in love with the location and home itself.

Wonderful house at a superb location

We stayed in this house for a week from December 25, 2011 thru December 31, 2011. We were seven of us, 4 adults and 3 kids. We had the best of times. House is very tastefully furnished. Master bedroom and adjacent study deserve special mention. Big windows bring in lot of light. You can step out to the balcony on the second floor in the morning with your coffee and watch the ocean from there. Kitchen was fully stocked. We did quite a bit of cooking and we had everything we needed. I can not say enough about the location. House is walking distance from the beach. We spent a lot of time on the beach. You can also walk to a number of good restaurants, grocery store etc. We also enjoyed just walking thru the neighborhood enjoying looking at beautiful houses. Lastly, a word about the host. Barbara was alway available on the phone when we needed her. She was considerate enough to keep Christmas lights on for us. We could not have asked for better service. All in all, we had most wonderful time and returned home with fond memories.
