ReviewsWrite a review
This is a gorgeous, peaceful, convenient house, that is full of personality and captures the magic of Block Island perfectly. Our family loves its closeness to town/grocery and (of course) Town/State Beach (our favorites with "little ones"), but also the quiet and relaxing sense of privacy and "away from it all" it possesses. There seems to be a gentle breeze perpetually blowing in through the picturesque windows, the furniture is comfortable and truly "feels like home." This is not a place to come if you want a "scene," or to be surfing the web, watching TV, checking your e-mail— it reproduces the best parts of being at home with family in a beautiful setting, while somehow magically drawing one away from all the usual distractions. As we see it, the only major downside to this property is that once you stay and settle in, you never want to leave!

Beautifully maintained home with charm
Beautifully maintained home with charm
My husband, 2 kids and a babysitter stayed here in July. Its a beautifully maintained home and suits a small family well. Nice and open living space and everything is updated. Although the one bathroom can be difficult at times, there is an outside shower with great pressure. What's unique about this home and why its great for a family, especially small kids, is that there's a cute playhouse and "pet" chickens and turkeys that patrol the property. Nice location, across from duck pond, if you know the island.
