This rustic cottage, once a tennis house in the heyday of Bar Harbor’s “Cottage Era,” is nestled in the woods on a private road, yet, only one mile to downtown Bar Harbor and a short trail through the woods to Compass Harbor, a small beach and Door Point. The cottage is cozy and has a large screened porch. Towering oak and pine trees surround the house and create a sense of privacy and peace. The Entrance to Acadia National Park’ hiking, biking, and sight seeing is one mile from the cottage.
