Perfect place – Great sense of design, and a S.F. fan to boot! Pool, BBQ, kitchen (luv the Bosch dishwasher), TV…Everything was greatly appreciated. First time back in P.S. since 1989! With a place like this, we’ll be back sooner and more often. --Maureen, Mike, Sarah, Ellen & Mitchell from Vancouver, B.C. (Go ‘Nucks!)

Five fabulous high school friends turning forty enjoyed a fun weekend in your wonderful home. The “binder” was great. Easy to find everything we needed. Had a great spa day at the Riviera. Enjoyed time by the pool and grilling an awesome steak dinner. But the best was laughing about those “magic fingers!” --Hawthorne High c/o ‘89 Cougars!

18-21 February 2011 We had such a fabulous weekend at this gem of a house in Palm Springs! Perfect amenities, awesome pool and location. Love all the mod & vintage touches. Couldn’t have asked for more – Thank you so much!
Owner response:When we renovated our home a few years back, we took special care in selecting not only "retro" furnishings, but authentic 60''s items such as the Geoge Nelson wall clock and chandelier as well as our vintage couch and chairs. We love coming to our home in the Desert and the feeling we get being in surroundings of a time gone by.

We sincerely enjoyed our week long stay at your comfortable and modern ‘villa. The swimming pool, the barbeque, the nice garden, etc. – they were all part of a relaxing holiday.

Oh what fun. We 3 gals are “green” with envy that we don’t own this place! Pool, cocktails and great company – what could be better. We’ll be back again for sure.

We really enjoy our stay in your beautiful home! So many smart design choices -- I think we may steal a few. Dennis [the property manager] was very helpful. We appreciated his guidance on what to do in town. Love having the pool to dive into, and loved being able to bring our dog, Roxie. Thank you so much!

This was the greatest mother's day ever - so relaxing! Your place is awesome, clean, organized. Just the way we like it. And way better than what the house used to look like. [Owner's comment: see the photo album of the 'before and after' pix of the renovation.] Thank you!

After warm - hot days we are a little sad to go! It has been a wonderful stay. The house is simply perfect. Confession time: I laughed when seeing the note on "how to use the shower [in the guest bath]." Like every true American guy, didn't read it. Big Mistake. I felt pretty stupid trying to figure it out! Of course, then I read them after getting out. Instead of trying my luck again, next time I just used the other shower. Isn't that what 2 showers are for -- the smart well-read ones and the rest of us... ; ) Seriously thank you for all the things like the DVR and I-pod dock. Our son Johnny would like to take the pool with us and says we need to come back for another vacation. Thanks so much.

We were here for our annual CMF trek with beautiful friends. The house is perfect in every which way for our time away from the crowds and noise of the festival. We feel this house -- after having rented so many in the past -- is the finest house we have enjoyed. Thank you for maintaining your house so well. P.S. The dog enjoyed the house very much too.

Our group of friends had rented many desert homes in the area and this has been our favorite. Many times we have found homes to be unnecessarily over designed with false modern or contemporary furniture and features, but your home actually makes sense -- beautiful, functional and comfortable. Thanks for truly having everything we need. Big thanks for allowing us to bring our Fox Terrier, Berkeley. He loved lying in the grass. We live in a loft in LA and don't have a yard. We've mainly rented homes for the CMF, and for us, getting up there in age, your home was truly an oasis.

5 were we! What a fabulous house and pool. Just what we needed to relax! Weather was perfect. We explored sights, great tram ride too. On our way out of town we plan to take in "Opera in the Park." We will be back soon. Thankx for the great time

We loved staying at this property. We used the salt water pool almost the entire time we were there. We will back for sure. The 2 bedrooms are a perfect size, and the third room is an open office so if you have someone sleep in there, they won't have too much privacy. Loved it!

Really lovely house! We had a 3 day stay and could barely drag ourselves away. Beautifully restored mid-century modern home with the appropriate updates (ie. baths, laundry and fantastic kitchen!) Cul-de-sac location allows for large yard with beautiful pool and plenty of privacy. Furnished with some nice Danish modern pieces. We'd return in a minute!

This home offers you every comfort of your own home and is decorated with the ultra chic style of city living. My friends and I had a great time making dinner together (everything is there)- making yummy drinks and swimming in the pool. I would definately book another stay here! I can't wait to go back.

I would much rather stay at this immaculate, newly remodeled and very private house than a hotel. The kitchen was well-stocked with every utensil and cooking instrument I could need. You have done a great job of furnishing the house in a way that compliments its architectural roots, yet in a very contemporary way. That crazy couch is crazy comfortable (even for a nap)! Great air conditioning to ward off those hot PS daytime hours, and the dog really loved the cool concrete floors for a nice refreshing nap. Sitting outside by the sliding glass doors drinking a margarita, taking an evening dip in the pool... need I say more? Very convenient to downtown and shopping, too. Will definitely come back for a longer stay.

I can't imagine a place that more perfectly embodies what everyone loves about the PS lifestyle and mid-century cool. This is a peaceful retreat with a great indoor/outdoor flow and tons of space for entertaining and relaxing. It has all of the "must-have" basics, but my favorite part and what other places are missing are the fabulous finishes. New stylish kitchen (apple green cabinets!), flawless concrete floors, luxurious bathrooms
