Chances are, before you unpack your bags, you will tour every room in this cabin marveling at its architecture, furnishings, and finish work. Every space shares a common theme of log and timber architecture, inviting furnishings and tasteful decorating--this cabin's atmosphere of charm, warmth and coziness will not disappoint.
The 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths (three queen beds and two twins) gives eight people the comfort and privacy only a well designed floor plan can offer. The large, spacious kitchen features stainless steel appliances, stone counter tops, breakfast bar, knotty pine cabinets, and is connected to the dining room with seating for six adults. Adjacent to the dining room is the living room which can only be described as dramatic with its 25' timber-framed cathedral ceilings, floor-to-ceiling masonry hearth, contemporary furniture and built-in HD TV cabinet.
Surrounding the living room from above is the loft...and what a loft it is; 45' of custom pine staircase and railing, leather rocker/recliners, a love-seat, a gaming table and an HD TV... all of which is surrounded by open-beam cathedral ceilings and meticulous finish-work. There is little doubt that this log cabin will appeal to those who value a step-up from what a typical vacation cabin can offer.
The location and setting of this cabin is equally beautiful. It is one of six log cabins that share a level 20 acre plateau of timberlands located in the heart of the Cascade Mountains at the foot of the 5,000' South Cle Elum Ridge. For privacy and seclusion, the cabin is sited on a nine acre meadow rimmed by mature timber. Its southern exposure looks out over the meadow and trees with the So. Cle Elum Ridge as its backdrop. Whether sitting in the living room near the floor-to-ceiling hearth, or outside on the back porch swing, the view is wonderful; and depending on the time of year you stay, you may be treated to a visit of elk, deer or wild turkey foraging in the meadow.
For those of you who come to enjoy the outdoors, this cabin has quick and easy access to the Woods-Steele Sno-Park/Trailhead providing entry to miles upon miles of roads and trails maintained year-round for recreational use. In as few as 20 minutes, you can be atop the nearby 5,000' ridge line with 360 degree views of mother nature's handiwork. And if you don't mind a short drive, you are in close proximity to rivers, lakes, ski resorts, even world class golf. So, bring your hiking boots, x-country skis, snowshoes, bikes, snowmobiles or golf clubs because this area caters to those who love the outdoors.

Absolutely wonderful experience. Better than portrayed, warm and inviting. This really belies the term "Log Cabin". This would make an excellent full time occupancy. We totally enjoyed the days we had here. Highly recommended with prompt courteous responses to all inquiries.
