  The pictures were accurate but did not do the property justice. This is a great house in a great location. The house was very well organized and very clean. When we had a slight problem with the pool filter, my husband called Paul and he returned our call immediately and took care of the problem. Without a doubt I would recommend this to any family or group. We had 17 family members, ranging in age from 2 1/2 to 66 years. Our granddaughter called "reel Life" her "cation house" We went to visit the lighthouses, Jockey State Park, the NC aquarium, The Lost colony, fishing excursion for the boys and shopping for the girls. Great time. Mako Mikes accomodated the entire group with a terrific waitress, Sherry.The deck was a great gathering place in the AM to watch sunrise with coffee. Great vacation

  This home was perfect for our family group which included young children. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool with the outdoor speakers and the private dune deck right on the beach. The home is very comfortable and well maintained. The home is located closeby to shops, restaurants and activities. The owners were very responsive and a pleasure to work with. We have already planned our trip to return next year.

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

  We had a great time at Reel Life, August 2011. Our group of 20 included an age range from 2 - 87 (12 adults and 8 kids)! The house was spacious and accomodating. The kitchen and dining area allowed for cooked dinners every night and enough seating for our entire group. The views were absolutely terrific and the beach was great. Coffee in the morning on the dune deck watching the sunrise was a daily occurrence. We enjoyed hanging out on the beach daily playing games and fishing. The private in-ground pool provided a great place to congregate throughout the day and the outside shower got a lot of use. Shopping was conveniently located to get supplies on a regular basis. The Wright Brothers mueseum was close and provided a day away to do something different. I would certainly recommend this house for a large group who want to relax and take in what Nag's Head has to offer. The owners were very responsive to take care of a minor pool issue we had early in the week. One watchout - bring bug spray! We were vacationing the first week of August and they seemed to be on the prowl. We can't wait to get back in 2012...

  We were a group of twenty(20) and everyone was comfortable. While the house suited our large group, there were a few issues. House info (eg garbage collection) is sparse, and contact person was not responsive via telephone; so, we were pretty much on our own. Beach renovation was in full swing which meant bulldozers operating 24/7 causing some sleeping issues. To their credit, owners notified us beach renovations would be ongoing, but it was too late for us to change plans. We requested a partial refund which was not favorably received. Listing description is spot on, and the house was spic and span.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children.

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Reel life! The house is very well appointed and the sunset views were beautiful. We especially enjoyed cocktails on by the pool in the evenings. The owners are very friendly and responsive to questions and concerns. The house was close to shops and restaurants and fun activities for the kids. We will definitely be back next year.

  We had an excellent family gathering for the week between Christmas and New Year's and cannot say enough about the owner, Paul. He was easy to work with and just a genuinely nice guy. The house is great too. My only regret is that I could not take my anticipated polar plunge in the ocean. Will stay here again!

  If you are looking for one of the best homes in the Outer Banks this is one of them. I have stayed in the Outer Banks every year for about the past 15 years. This is one of the nicest homes I have stayed in. It has everything you want and more. The location is great. The owners are wonderful. They return calls right away and will answener any questions you may have. We stayed for a week for my son's wedding had lots a room for everyone. I will be sure to rent this home again.
