What a way to close out the summer...Amazing views & beautiful accomodations! As a last minute getaway for us, the home owners couldnt be more accomodating and gracious. Their home is meticulously kept and well stocked! From throwing a line in at dawn, tubing during the day, to star gazing at night, I couldnt imagine a better place to be. We hope to be back next summer! Many thanks!

This place is amazing. The house is simply beautiful and is furnished with everything that you can possibly need for a great time. The boat house and lake are fantastic and have great views. The screened in porch is a wonderful place to eat and play games. I can't think of a better way of celebrating the big 5-0. The owner was a delight to work with in arranging our stay. Everyone had a great time. Thanks so much to the Snavely's.

My group of 8 stayed here 2 nights in May. We really enjoyed the roominess with the 2 complete family rooms and two separate porches on the main level, one screened in. Everything we needed was provided. The steps down to the boat house are difficult though. There are no railings and the stepping stones are loose, but once you get there, what a boat house! We spent an hour the first day just jumping from the upper deck. We'll be back

My family and I visited for 3 nights over the New Years Holiday. The house was great, the house was in great condition. Everything was represented very well in the VRBO description. This was the 1st vacation where our entire family was together since I left for the Army in 1985. This home worked out very well and we have some great memories.

We stayed at the Snaveley's beautiful home on Lake Burton for the second year in a row. It was, once again, a spectacular vacation for our entire family. It has now become an annual event that even the teenagers and younger kids all look forward to each year. They count the days. There is room for everyone and something for all to do. The Snavely home is beautiful, fully stocked and ready to relax, enjoy, spend time together, hang out and just get away from it all. We can't say enough about the views, decorations, comfort, space and just all around attention to detail. We love the area so much that this year we actually bought a lot. Since it will be a while before we build, we look forward to returning again and again each year to the Snavely home until we have our own place.

We had a fabulous vacation staying right on Lake Burton at the Snavely's home. The lake, mountains and the home could not have been any better and remind us of a favorite Lake in the Adirondacks near where we grew up. The home was perfect with plenty of space for us and 4 teenage boys who spent many hours jumping off the boat house, trying to catch fish (this was a challenge) and hanging in the well furnished lower level. Mornings and evenings on the screened porch or boat house deck were beautiful and we even enjoyed ourselves during some heavy thunderstorms. Tubing, skiing, fishing and cruising on Lake Burton is a blast and being able to return to a wonderfully designed, furnished and stocked home make it such a simple and relaxing vacation. We can't thank the Snavely's enough for allowing us to use their slice of paradise and we certainly hope to be able to do so again in the near future. The location is convenient by car and boat. The views are outstanding and we would highly recommend this home to families who want to enjoy a first class Lake Burton vacation.

Even more beautiful than the photos! This home was the perfect setting for our extended family to reunite, relax, and have fun together. There was plenty of room for 14 of us with the upper and lower living levels inside, and the extensive porches, decks, boat house and huge dock area provided ample space outdoors. The home and grounds are very well maintained, and we really appreciated all of the seating available to us out on the expansive docks and upper deck of the boat house. We love to cook and found everything we needed in the well-stocked cook's kitchen. A wonderful family vacation! Thank you for sharing this very special place on gorgeous Lake Burton!
