Perched on 9 secluded acres, Point of View overlooks the French Broad River valley and the stunning mountains of Transylvania County yet it is only 10 minutes from picturesque downtown Brevard. This very private mountainside setting provides postcard worthy views of the French Broad River as it winds through the valley, the granite face of Cedar Rock rising skyward and the gentle peaks of the Blue Ridge mountains. For those who are looking for variety in their vacation, Brevard is a particularly great vacation destination, especially with soaring gas prices. Locally, the small mountain town of Brevard offers a diverse array of unique shops and great restaurants. Beyond the town limits you will find thousands of acres of state and federal forest land to explore: In the summer, if you want a natural “thrill ride”, venture into Pisgah National Forest to experience a shocking plunge into seven feet of frosty mountain water at Sliding Rock. It’s a sure way to cool off in the heat of the day! If you choose to drive a short distance, take in the Biltmore Estate in Asheville or a performance at Flat Rock Playhouse near Hendersonville. After a day of shopping or exploring, come home, build a fire in the outdoor fire pit, grab your favorite beverage and watch the sun slip behind the mountains overlooking the French Broad River Valley. As the saying goes, “Life is good”. Point of View was totally redecorated in December 2007, the chalet style house features a magnificent three-story native stone fireplace in the upper and lower living areas. Firewood is supplied so, if you feel so inclined, do enjoy the pleasures of sitting around the fire engaged in your favorite pastime. The four bedrooms are comfortably appointed with either queen or double beds. Queen size convertible sofas are also provided for additional bedding in the main and lower living areas. Several lodging combinations are possible: reserve the entire house (4 bedrooms/3 baths), just the main level (3 bedroom/2 bath) or just the lower level (1 bedroom/1 bath). There is a complete kitchen and washer/dryer in both the main level and the lower level

two night minimum. Add sales and lodging tax (10.75%  total)to all rates.
Deposits: $200 Security Deposit plus $50% deposit of rental fee due by credit
card at the time of booking to hold reservation. Balance will be charged to
credit card 7 days prior to arrival. All bookings require a major credit card.
Cancellations more than 60 days in advance will receive a refund minus a $100
cancellation fee. Cancellations less than 30 days do not receive a refund.
Cancellations must be in writing or by email.
