What a great place to relax and enjoy the awesome view! It is close by downtown Brevard where there are many places to shop and eat. I would definately recommend this house to family and friends.

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway, pet owners, sightseeing.

We came here together as a family to get through our first holiday without our mother who died in August. Point of View gave us all what we needed- a place for all to be together, to cook, walk, watch movies and to stay up late talking. Everyone had some special moment, or chat or event- some treasure found in downtown Brevard. The view we woke up to every morning inspired us & welcomed us and the sun setting each day gave us comfort for a day well lived.

Sandy And Mark met Ellen and Don in SC and came up to the Point of View! The most amazing view indeed. Cozy house with awesome view. We were very comfortable here and hope to come back again soon- nice to be so close to Brevard- great fireplace- will recommend to friends too. Great base for waterfall hunting

Our first stay here. FANTASTIC! We come to NC every year at this time for your opening of duck season. We float the French Broad from Hannah Ford to Butler Bridge. Always a good time. Have been doing it for 25 some years. By far this is the best location and "VIEW" we have ever stayed at. It serves our purpose perfectly. Hope to be back here next year. Several of us are planning to bring our wives up for a vacation and hope to stay here. Can only say thank you and hope to see you next year. Thanks, The Florida Boys

What a view! God's creation is awesome. It's like a canvas where the picture changes everyday. Thanks for sharing such a beautiful house. We had lots of fun... We had a wonderful stay. Weather was fantastic. Did some kayaking on the French Broad, hiking in Pisgah and lucked out with the White Squirrel Festival. Thanks for sharing your home.

The view is fantastic. We got some great pictures of the sunset and view. The weather was perfect. Our family enjoyed hiking to Moore's Cove. The grandkid's found their own walking sticks and want to go hiking all the time. We also enjoyed making Smores. This is a great place to come and spend time with family. [P.S from Nancy]: It was a perfect 64th birthday! :)

We had a wonderful time here at Point of View. An amazing view! A peaceful, relaxing mountain getaway. Thanks for sharing it! The kids (& grownups!) enjoyed toasting marshmallows and eating Smores. We hope to be back soon.

WOW- what an amazing view! We have enjoyed watching the sun set behind the mountain, the thousands of stars at night and the waking up to the beautiful fogged sky. My children love hearing all the cows moo in the morning :) We will be back and we will bring others!

Thank you for making your lovely home available to rent! We had a wonderful time with our adult daughters and son- a special time having the family together again. We loved sitting on the deck and enjoying the view. We spent many hours hiking in the Pisgah National Forest and it was so nice to have a comfortable house to come back to. We hope to return someday. We had a great trip to celebrate my mother-in-laws birthday. We loved the views and the sunsets and the stars! We did an easy hike to High Falls and played in the water all day. We also loved Mud Dabbers for pottery. For lunch- Rocky's downtown is our favorite (old fashioned soda fountain) and for dinner we love Fujiyama Japanese steak house (lacks atmosphere but the food was wonderful). We did takeout and enjoyed the view on the porch here. We had a great trip and hope to come back!

Thanks so much for our stay at "Point of View". We went to Dupont Falls, which was very fun and beautiful. Our family reunion was great. We celebrated our grandmother's 94th birthday! The view right outside the house was stunning. As I write this, the fog is hovering right in the valley. The cabin is very spacious and comfortable. Thanks!!

"Point of View"was such a treat this week! It was so good to spend time with our family in this beautiful area. Everything was clean and adorably decorated. The stay was amazing. A lot of things to do within 15 minutes drive of the cabin. The cabin is awesome and the view is priceless. I will definitely recommend it to others.

The perfect place for a bunch of college buddies to get together for the weekend. Plenty of mountain biking, fishing, trail roaming and kayaking within a very short drive. Great size and a awesome view. Our only request is a gas grill: we're not good at baking and pretty much any meal we cook is on the grill. Look forward to coming back next year.

THANK YOU!! Our gathered family had an awesome Thanksgiving week at "Point of View". We appreciated: - beautiful sunsets and sparkling stars, great view. - great hikes in the area: Triple Falls, High Falls, Big Rock and Corn Mill Shoals, Moore Cove, Dupont State Forest. - walking downtown Brevard the day after Thanksgiving and shopping the thrift shops (Safe Attic and St Phillips were the best- great stuff) and enjoying the music at the courthouse corner. - walking the logging path down the mountain - shopping at Ingles and Poppies for our food - looking at the pottery places- especially Mud Dabbers and Duck Pond Pottery - jigsaw puzzles, Monopoly, talking by the fire!
