We spent the week of Thanksgiving in Maui- what a blast! This is the second time staying at the Maui Sunset and once again we were thrilled. The condo has everything we could want for a week of play and relaxation. This time there were four of us and fit comfortably. We even tried out the paddleboards right in front of the condo, as well as tennis, shuffleboard, boche ball, BBQ and swimming. We used the kitchen for practically all of our meals. We also enjoyed the small towns and beaches along South Keihi just minutes away, as well as the craft market within walking distance. Thanks for opening up your condo, Roy & Jackie!

My husband and I really enjoy this unit at the Maui Sunset. The photos are nice, but the actual unit is even nicer! Comfortable furniture, fully equiped kitchen and lanai with a gorgeous view. That is the perfect combo for us since we don't get out and DO a lot wen we visit Hawaii...we just relax since our lives at home are so hectic. We also love that the Maui Sunset is on the ocean side of S. Kihei Rd and you don't have to cross the street to get to it. It is an easy walk across beautifully kept lawn to take a walk along the shore. This year we tried the stand up paddleboarding that is available for rent from the poolside activity folks. LOVED IT! It was a blast and worth a try. We were able to stand up on the first try and stayed "up" most of the time, but even if that doesn't work out for you it is still fun to kneel and paddle around looking for fish and turtles (didn't see any). The grounds are beautifully maintained and the unit itself was super clean. The owners are very gracious about answering questions and do so quickly. To sum it all up, whe we knew we were coming back to Maui I want straight for this listing, looked at the calendar and booked our flights based on the availability of this unit. I didn't even look at any others. Mahalo, Roy & Jackie for sharing your piece of paradise with others.

A wonderful home-base for our Maui Vacation...

We found Jackie and Roy to be the perfect hosts, making the rental process seamless. The unit is impeccably decorated and we appreciated the upgraded appliances and well-appointed kitchen. Extras such as cooler, beach chairs and towels, etc, that anticipated our needs for day-trips, were also a welcome addition. The grounds at the Maui Sunset are beautifully maintained and it's close proximity to all that Maui has to offer puts this top on our list of places to stay for a return Maui vacation. We highly recommend this unit for your Maui adventure! Thanks Jackie and Roy, we'll be back. BTW, bring your own internet connection, as service is not included and the internet connection provided through Maui Sunset is spendy.

What a nice surprize to arive in Maui the day after Thanksgiving, leaving the cold and snowy Seattle ,WA area. Your condo is much nicer then we were expicting although the pictures seamed nice in reallty it's nicer. The nice accomadations of your condo and 80 something day time tempatures were just what the DR. ordered. Enjoyed visiting many of the beaches in the area on down to Big beach (no little beach for us) we prefered the beaches that have flush RR and showers to rinse in, to get the sand out of every crack in our bodies. What a treat to have your condo to return to in the eveanings. The nice pool area, the grass is unbelieveable (like fake but real) the BBQ'S, well furnished kitchen the flat screen TV (although did not watch much TV) all lead to a fantastic time here in Maui thank you so much. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Though the property and unit looked nice in the pictures, it was all much better in person. The ocean and sunset views from the lanai are wonderful. The condo is so tastefully decorated in a hawaiian theme, without being overdone. The kitchen was modern, well equipped and spotless. The photos don't do the beautiful cherry cabinetry justice. The grounds of the Maui Sunset complex are beautiful and immaculately maintained. They were a pleasure to walk around or look down on from the unit. The property was surprisingly quiet, with the (fun) exception of a yodeler that stepped outside for a spontaneous performance two nights in a row, around 8 PM. Everyone came out onto their balconies and cheered/applauded him when he finished. It really was something! We really appreciated the thoughtful extras provided by Roy & Jackie, such as beach towels, beach chairs, coolers and umbrella. We could not have had a more positive experience at the Maui Sunset. Thank you Roy and Jackie!

We stayed at this beautiful,modern condo Feb 10-16 and thoroughly loved it. It has all the amenities of home but adds the gorgeous view of the ocean from the lanai where we enjoyed a beautiful sunset every night. This place is fabulous! It has everything you need for the perfect vacation. Boogie boards, beach towels, beach chairs and the all important cooler. The kitchen is ready to for a gormet meal if you don't feel like going out. The grills are nice and a great way to meet other people. Maui Sunset is a great central location. Everything is easily accessible. Beware of boogie boarding at the beach there - lots of reef, but it allows you to check out the other beaches which are close by. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to get away for a long weekend or a long vacation. It is perfect for a family as well. There isn't more you could ask for - a home away from home. Glad we stayed here!

I just got back from Maui last week and LOVED this unit! Four other families stayed at Maui Sunset with us and we all agreed that this was the best unit as far as decorations, furnishings, comfort, and style. The kitchen had everything we needed and I appreciated all the beach equipment and the extra sleeping pads.

We stayed for six nights in your condo and were very pleased with the accommodations. It is very nicely decorated, well maintained and very clean.The grounds of the complex are very nice and we enjoyed the ocean view from the lanai. It was centrally located and shopping was nearby for whatever you needed. Would definitely stay here again. The kitchen was also well stocked for cooking and the beach items and coolers were a plus for our trips around the island.

We loved this condo. We especially enjoyed the immaculate grounds and the very nice BBQ grills and the socal activity around the grills. The beach is beautiful to walk on and the chairs and umbrellas provided in the condo were a great benefit. We will definitly come back in the future.

This was our fourth visit to this unit. It is the best. It has all the comforts of home. The kitchen is fabulous. We love the grounds, especially the pool and the gas grills. Great location too!

We have rented Maui Sunset condos for ten years and this unit has the best equipped and designed kitchen of all the 1br,2 ba units that we have stayed in. We also appreciated the beach chairs, coolers, etc.

The stay at your condo was fantastic for the 20 days we were able to enjoy your unit. Very comfortable and it was a pleasure waking up in the morning, making coffee and watching the ocean from your lanai. We have stayed at other places and intend to put yours at the top of the list. We had a great time on our vacation....it was so hard to leave the warm sunshine and come back to the gray chill of this time of the year. Your condo is lovely and we appreciated the nice touches such as the boogie boards, beach chairs, etc, not to mention the coffee grinder! We are already thinking about how soon we could go again! The last time we were on Maui we stayed at a condo in Kaanapali and your place is by far much nicer and homier feeling. This was a special trip for us as Joe just completed his Bachelors Degree from George Fox University and this was his graduation gift. Having your "home away from home" to return to each evening was great. Thanks for the tip about stopping at the activity desk by the pool....Jean is so sweet and very helpful. We would definitely stay at your unit again and will recommend your place to others as well.

We spent 5 nights there, it's a nice place at an affordable price. the landlord and the staff are very friendly and accomodating. The beach though not as high profile as those in Kapalua or Walia, does off very spectacular sun set view. The room is clean, well maintained. It is a nice surprise to find coconut flavored coffee in the cabins. The Kihei center is nearby offering shopping and dinning options. Overall very positive experience.

We stayed in this unit 5 weeks in Jan/Feb of 2005, celebrating our 40th anniversary. It was a terrific unit, with all the 'extras' and we thorougly enjoyed our time there. Our family rented other units during this time on this site as well, and unit A507 was by far the best!!

A507 is a great clean unit. All cooking utensils available for making your own meals. Good view from lanai, steps from the beach. Most beautiful sunsets. Close to shopping and activities.

Our stay at at A507, Maui Sunset was delightful. The complex, the unit and the grounds were impeccably maintained. The unit was modern, open, spacious and airy and provided all the amenities we could have required. Enough cannot be said of the common facilities and grounds grooming. With the Kihei weather and the views from the lanai, it's easy to understand why the complex is called Maui SUNSET.
