Great location, quiet apartment, clean and modern

Had a choice on several different apartments and decided to go with this one. My parents and I really enjoyed our stay here because everything was great and clean. I would definitely stay here again. Note that the apartment is on the 2nd floor, which is really the 3rd floor in the US. It is a quick and easy walk to San Marco and Rialto. Easy to find if you follow the signs to San Giovanni E Paolo. Owners told us to get off at Ca Doro on the vaporetto but it is definitely best to take the vaporetto to Hospedale as it pretty much drops you off very close to the apartment. I really enjoyed being able to wash our clothes in the washing machine... very convenient. The kitchen was fully equipped (just limited room to do any prep work). Down sides were that 1) the fireplace does not work... I think it's just for appearance 2) no extra toilet paper was supplied and the roll that was supplied was not sufficient for 3 people... a basic expectation for the price and quality of the unit 3) no internet 4) no phone and 5) no English tv channels. The phone/tv/internet were not a big deal, but seeing that other places offered that and this was a bit more upscale/luxury, I think it would add a nice touch for anglophone guests to get at least one English channel, or to log on at the apt instead of using an internet point or using a payphone. On the plus side, there is a supermarket nearby (just make sure to get there before they close at 7:00 or 7:30pm). There is also a Billa that we found on the main "road" that is open later. The apartment is perfectly situated. Pretty much anywhere in Venice is perfectly situated because it really is a very small place. Met Marisol at the apartment... very pleasant and very helpful. Photos and description by owner is very accurate.

Not only did this apartment measure up in every way advertised, but its location couldn't be better. Literally 5 minutes walk to either Rialto or to San Marcos square. Also 5 minutes to the Vaporetto stop that takes you to Murano, Burano and Torcello. It is located block away from the Campo SS Giovanni e Paolo, a beautiful neighborhood campo. A supermarket is only 5 minutes walk in two different directions. Marisol who greeted us upon arrival was great. Although we didn't need to call her she made it clear that she was available anytime should we need anything. My wife has confirmed that we will be back and we will be staying at this charming apartment again.
