We purchased Suite 3800 in September 2008. As we live here summers and some winter weeks, we have decorated it with many works from local artists and furnished it nicely. We enlarged the living room to accomadate a large dining room table for 12, armoire and buffet for storing games, serving dishes and extra plates and a computer table with IBM PC w/WIFI and Printer/Fax/Copier. We added large bureaus in the master and guest bedrooms, extra storage closets and a large pantry in the kitchen.
This new deluxe 2300 square foot Presidential Suite #3800 is located on the eighth floor of Westgate Resorts new Moose Lodge. This Suite includes two 42" and five 32" flat screen Plasma TV's, DirecTV HDT w/Recorder,private eight person hot tub on 85' balcony overlooking the Wasatch Mountains and Valley,4 king bedrooms with private bathrooms each w/steam shower, 3 queen sleeper sofas, 3 fireplaces, private reserved underground parking spot and much more. Ski-In/Out from this Five Star Westgate Luxury Resort and Spa located in The Canyons Ski Area in Park City, Utah.
After skiing, you can enjoy one of two indoor or two outdoor pools; or relax in a sauna, steam room or your private hot tub. You can also enjoy the 30,000 square foot Serenity Spa by Westgate, the state of the art fitness facility, the renowned Five Star Westgate Grill and Bar and more. The Canyons Ski Area with 197 lifts, 179 trails over 4000 acres is quickly becoming one of the top ski destinations in the world [5th largest in US]. Enjoy having your skis carried to the Canyons Gondola by the ski valet service or free van transportation to either Deer Valley Resort or Park City Resort, downtown Park City (3 miles) or any other destination. LIVING ROOM: has a sofa/queen sleeper and love seat, gas fireplace, 42" Plasma HDTV/DVD w/Recorder, computer desk w/FAX/Copier/Printer, game table, stereo/CD, dining room table for twelve and wet bar. It opens to a 85 foot balcony with 8 person hot tub overlooking Wasatch Mountains and Valley.
KITCHEN: fully stocked gourmet kitchen has granite counter w/four barstools, dishwasher, microwave, cooktop, oven, refrigerator with ice maker and opens to the living room. A large clothes closet, full sized washer/dryer and large pantry adjoin the kitchen.
MASTER BEDROOM: has king sized bed, 42" Plasma HDTV/DVD, gas fireplace, jetted whirlpool tub for two, steam shower, bidet, double vanity and balcony. Down duvets and six pillows adorn all the king beds.
GUEST BEDROOM: king bed, gas fireplace, 42" flat Plasma HDTV, full sized closet, balcony, full bath with steam shower, vanity with granite countertop.
TWO MINI-SUITES(1 BEDROOM EACH): Each has a leather queen sleeper sofa, mini-kitchen and 32" Plasma TV/DVD in living area. The bedroom has King bed, a second 32" Plasma TV and two armoires. The bathroom has a steam shower and vanity with granite countertop. Small kitchen w/cooking utensils has microwave, two burner cooktop, dishwasher, and refrigerator.

THE CANYONS SKI AREA IS FANTASTIC!! WE LOVE IT AND SKI DAILY WHEN WE ARE HERE. OTHER SKI AREAS ARE EASY TO GET TO. THERE ARE NOW MANY GOOD RESTAURANTS HERE AT THE CANYONS AS WELL AS SHOPS. REDSTONE SHOPPING AND EATING IS ONLY 3 MILES. GOLF, FISHING AND TENNIS IN THE SUMMER ARE GREAT AND THE SUMMER WEATHER COULDN'T BE BETTER!
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
WE REALLY ENJOY THE CANYONS SKI AREA. AS IT IS THE FIFTH LARGEST SKI RESORT IN THE USA, IT HAS A GREAT VARIETY OF EXPERT AND BLUE RUNS THAT WE THINK ARE SOME OF THE BEST ANYWHERE. OFTEN THERE IS FRESH POWDER AND WE USUALLY START ON ONE SIDE OF THE AREA AND STAY THERE FOR THE MORNING. THEN AFTER LUNCH, WE HEAD TO THE OTHER SIDE. IT IS ALMOST THREE MILES ACROSS WITH A MIX OF TERRAINE ON THE SEVEN MOUNTAINS WE SKI AND WE SKI ALMOST ALL OF IT DEPENDING ON WHO WE ARE SKIING WITH. TWO ADDITIONAL LIFTS HAVE BEEN ADDED IN THE LAST FEW YEARS OPENING UP WIDER BOWLS AND TWO MORE LIFTS ARE BEING ADDED THIS YEAR. MANY OF THE BEGINNERS AND EASIER RUNS ARE AT THE TOP OF THE GONDOLA WHICH IS NICE AS THE SNOW IS EXCELLENT AND SKI DEMO,SKI SCHOOL AND EATING FACILITIES ARE THERE AND USUALLY WE TAKE THE GONDOLA DOWN AFTER SOME LAST RUNS AT THE TOP. AS WE GET OFF THE GONDOLA, A WESTGATE VALET TAKES OUR SKIS AND POLES AND WE WALK ACROSS THE PLAZA TO OUR SUITE - USUALLY STOPPING AT OUR FAVORITE CAFE. SOME OF OUR GRANDKIDS BOARD AND THE SNOWBOARD PARKS ARE AS EXTENSIVE AS THE SKI RUNS. WE SKI AT DEER VALLEY OR PARK CITY ONE SOMETIMES. THE SKI VALET LOADS OUR SKIS AND POLES IN THE VAN, WE PUT ON OUR BOOTS AND DEPART WHENEVER WE WISH AND ARE PICKED UP WHEN WE FINISH. SOME DAYS WE DRIVE OUR RENTAL CAR TO ALTA, SNOWBIRD OR SOLITUDE - ALL 45 MINUTES AWAY.

My friends and I rented this suite for a long weekend in January. We have stayed at the Canyons for 4 straight years, and at Westgate for the past 3. This was definitely the nicest place we've stayed at in that time. If you've never been to the area, the Canyons is the biggest (and I think the best) of the mountains, and Westgate is a great resort located right at the base - easy walk to the lifts, and they provide a ski valet to hold your equipment overnight and bring it over to the gondola in the morning. They also provide a free shuttle around town and to the other resorts. As for the room itself, the place is super spacious. We fit 10 very comfortably, and you could probably fit 2-3 more if you wanted. The hot tub has great views of both mountains and the valley below. The bedrooms are clean and spacious, as are the bathrooms. The owners will give you a code for free wireless, and they have plenty of games and such to pass the time after skiing. We will definitely be back next year.
Owner response:There are three pools, besides the hot tub at the Suite, each has a hot tub and towels. Also two Saunas and Steam Rooms plus the four steam showers in Suite 3800. Restaurant and bar at Westgate is fantastic; right on the property.

Our family rented this suite for a week, and it was an abosolutely terrific experience. The owners were extremely responsive and helpful with any questions. The unit is in perfect condition, and the Westgate is the best place to stay in Park City - you walk right out onto the slopes. The two main bedrooms and family room have great views of the mountain, with plenty of terrace space. Furniture is in very good condition and comfortable, and the kitchen is modern and very well equipped with anything you will need. The included parking space is very convenient. We will definitely be staying in this suite the next time we go to Park City.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

It was a sad day when we had to leave this amazing unit (actually it's 3 units in 1) at the Westgate. The private hot tub and 4 steam showers were just what the doctor ordered after a long day skiing fresh powder. Some of our group members checked out the other 3 public hot tubs at the Westgate as well. Jim, the owner, was extremely helpful, offering recommendations for restaurants and discount lift tickets. The free shuttle took us anywhere we wanted to go, although the shuttle is shared with others which means you may be the 5th or 6th stop. When the shuttle was booked solid, we caught the free city bus into town from 10 minutes down the hill which was a nice option. Free internet and washer/dryer in unit were icing on the cake. The only challenge we encountered was that the Westgate Resort itself is very challenging to navigate. This is a great option for a large group that wants to ski in/out at The Canyons!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Jim, Our stay was great. We had a lot of fun. Our last day of skiing was real good, the snow had softened. My wife and kids really picked up it up and we skied together all day Tuesday (we skied all 4 days). We loved your place and westgate as a whole. We will definitely do it again.

What a wonderful week we had at The Canyon's and at your suite! It snowed all day, every day while we were there and the skiing was unreal! Just as before, we thoroughly enjoyed your beautiful condo! It was absolutely perfect for our whole family, with the mini apartments providing privacy for our older children and their families! You have a beautiful set-up for a large group! My husband said we may just have to make this an annual trip! :)

You have a great place at the Westgate. Your Suite and the amenities in the suite and the Westgate worked great for our families (once we figured out how to navigate around the resort!). The service and staff at the Westgate and on the mountain was wonderful. Their ski school for young children was among the best we’ve experienced. Everything was perfect, despite the desperate need for fresh snow. It must be a different place now with the five feet of new snow you’ve received beginning the day we left. Although this was our first visit to Park City/The Canyons, I doubt it will be our last!
