This is a great home for a large group or a few families. It has 3 separate apartments in one home. So, numerous families or couples can have their privacy but also get together in the large open kitchen/dining/living room area in the middle apartment. The kitchen's are well stocked. The beds are very comfortable. It was very clean. I wish I could of stayed longer and can't wait to go back! The owner's were very easy to deal with.

I had my wedding in downtown Newport and this house was just perfect for the family and the new in-laws. My parents stayed in the top floor apartment and it was just perfect for me and my bridesmaids to get ready in on the wedding day. The in-laws had their own apartment, which was just perfect as well. Everyone was all together, but yet everyone had their own space. The backyard was ideal for our close family to gather the day after the wedding. I highly recommend this rental for any occasion! The owners are easy to talk to and were there for any questions that came up. Myself and my family will absolutely be returning here again. Thank you again for letting us use your fabulous house, it made our special weekend even better!
Owner response:Thank you, Lynn! We love the house and love that people are enjoying it. Congratulations on your wedding. Wishing you a lifetime of joy. Nancy Johnson

Stayed with 10 girls for a bachelorette party and everyone had their own space! Even 3 kitchens so plenty of room for food! Walking distance to beach and only a 3 minute cab ride to Thames St. Owner was extremely helpful and accommodating for our needs. Great backyard with nice, clean pool. Perfect place and reasonable for location. Would definitely stay again!

Three Beaches Cottage is a great property with a great location. The house is kept very clean and organized. It's a short walk to the beach, restaurants, a park with a playground and carousel for kids, and further up the road is the cliff walk with all the beautiful mansions. Newport is only a short 5 minute drive away. Having a backyard with a pool was also great. Highly recommend this house - thanks again - we'll be back!

What a great place! We had a great time. The location was fabulous--a five minute walk to the beach and a five minute drive to downtown. We hung out in the pool and biked the neighborhood. The upstairs had a great, open living room/kitchen for our large group to gather, and the bedrooms were private enough to let us sleep in. We would highly recommend this property to family and friends.

We rented the house with four other couples and felt we had enough "together" space as well as private space. The pool and the outdoor shower were the icing on the cake! Restaurants and beach could not have been more convenient. Beautiful views and easy to get to. Loved it. May even bring the kids next time! Lee Ann

We needed a place to house out of state guests for our son's wedding and found Three Beaches Cottage listed on the internet. What a blessing! The home is great! Of special note is the fact that you can have a large number of people staying together, but still have some privacy due to the uniqueness of the layout of the home. Its like having three separate units all connected. However, everyone can gather in the "great room" in the upstairs unit when "together time" is wanted/needed. A special bonus was its proximity to the beach and the town of Newport. There's always something to see or do! Last thing to mention is the accomidating nature of the owners. They went the extra mile to see that our needs were met and that our stay was pleasant!

We have summered in Newport, but never thought to go there in the Fall or Winter. This Cottage was clean, spacious, relaxing, and so convenient for a family getaway. An easy drive to Newport Center for shopping and dining. We walked to the beach and then went to the American Beach Club for a wonderful and very affordable brunch afterwards we all walked to the Cliff Walk for a lovely hike. It was just what we needed to clear our heads in preparation for the work week. We will be booking again soon, but without the kids. : ) Thanks so much!

Three Beaches Cottage is a wonderful place to stay! We went this past summer with 2 other families and the house was clean, well-organized and the layout was perfect for multiple families. Having the pool in the backyard was great for the kids, and the beach was a very easy and short walk from the house. Along the beach there is a small aquarium, a carousel and a playground which was also great for the kids. We enjoyed going for a jog along the beautiful cliffwalk, and the 5 minute drive to Newport was nice and convenient for going out to dinner. Plus there are a few good places right around the corner from the house in walking distance. All in all, we would highly recommend Three Beaches Cottage for a beach vacation, family reunion or other type of event.

Great location, wonderfully redone. Amenities are fantastic. Clean and well-maintained. Layout is very flexible with the three separate apartments in the one cottage. I used the "main" apartment last year with three rooms - great for a small group. This year we had 7 people between the "upstairs" apartment and adjoining "rear" apartment. Easy walk to first beach, longer walks to second and third beaches. Short drive to Thames St. The owners are great to deal with. Prompt and straightforward and friendly.

"We loved our stay at Three Beaches in Middletown, RI. The short walking distance to First Beach was convenient when vacationing with our three-year old daughter and her young cousins. We spent long, lovely days in the sand and surf at First Beach and could get “home” with no hassle for naps or provisions. We also enjoyed the swimming pool and spacious fenced-in yard at the cottage. Bonus here. One night my husband and I got a babysitter, on recommendation from the owners, and took a long romantic walk along the shore in First Beach towards the Cliff Walk. We strolled the Cliff Walk as the moonlight reflected off the Ocean and we marveled at the architecture and scenery. Later, we made our way back and ate a hearty meal at the bar at the KJ's Pub. Delicious. The rental unit itself was clean and adorable. Everything was in good working order and the linens were crisp and the beds comfortable. I liked this place because it’s close enough to Newport for dining and shopping but much more mellow when you need downtime and unlimited beach access. A great summer retreat! Highly recommended." "Three Beaches Cottage was the perfect place to stay while I was sailing in the Olympic Trials. The location was great: half way between downtown and the sailing venue." Brian Raney, October 2007
