Eateries, shops and beautiful beaches abound and all are within walking distance or a short golf cart ride away. Fishing and boating is hassle free as this home offers dockage to accommodate not only a runabout style boat, but also up to a 60 foot sport fisher. Electric, water, and private fish cleaning stand are adjacent to the private slip. Deep blue Atlantic waters thriving with game fish are just minutes away through Tiloo cut.
The house is graciously appointed in island style furnishings and offers all amenities such as Satellite TV, DVD, VCR, and internet. A screened porch surrounds the main house, with open decks for bbq area, and conversation areas leading to the pool.
Main house has 3 bedrooms and 3 baths on 2 stories, with office area on second floor and will accommodate up to 7 persons. Master and guest feature king beds, second guest features a queen and a daybed with ensuite bath. All rooms have water views. In addition an efficiency apartment is located below the main living area, and is accessible from the kitchen. It features 1 bed, 1 bath, sleeper sofa, den, and efficiency kitchen. This area is ideal for children or overflow guests.

We rented Junkanoo Villa in August of 2008, and I have nothing but good things to say about the entire rental experience. We found the home to be extremely well taken care of. The yard was well-maintained and the pool and deck area were ideal for families with people of all ages. The pool deck sported very comfortable lounge chairs and tables, and there are private showering areas (enclosed) on the edge of the pool deck ~ extremely convenient and clean. The house itself is roomy but cozy. A new TV is a welcomed addition to this home. We rent coastal properties regularly and Junkanoo Villa provided the most well-stocked kitchen yet. The pots and pans and cutlery were more than adequate, and the kitchen has plenty of storage space for groceries and dishware. The dining table is of good quality and large and convenient to the barside of the kitchen. The house provides generator assistance when the power goes off, which it does on occasion. The master suite is spacious with a very generous closet area with plenty of shelving. All bedrooms offer their own special touch of privacy, and the home is cheerfully and tastefully decorated. The couple who tended the home for us while the owners were in Florida did an excellent job responding to our questions and needs. HopeTown is low-key, friendly, intimate island experience, and spending time at a rental home on the bayside of the island made for excellent boating. The villa is directly across the road from the boat docks, so it's ultra-convenient. Junkanoo also stands at the end of the road bordering the docking area, so there is a natural privacy that goes along with renting the property. We swam, fished, played cards, laid out at the pool, grilled seafood on the grill, read books on the enclosed porch, played poker and Scrabble at night in the living area, and watched TV. We scooted around HopeTown in a golf cart and just lazed around to spend an ideal vacation. We are returning to Junkanoo Villa again this summer and highly recommend it to anyone who has a large family and values the amenities this home affords. You will not be disappointed! The best conch fritters on the island are at Harbour's Edge, eaten (of course) while drinking an "Over the Edge." The nicest dining experience is at the Harbour Lodge, and Abaco Inn offers beautiful views of both the bay and the sea. SeaSpray Marina has killer conch salad for lunch, and the Lodge has delicious rum cake! Enjoy a vacation in paradise!
