At Villas Topaz, relax in a cushioned lounge chair around the pool or in the tropical garden as you listen to the gentle sound of water cascading from the natural rock fountain into the pools. Enjoy a siesta in one of the double size hammocks under the palapa covered patio. Blossoms of bougainvilleas, hibiscus and other tropical plants and flowers adorn the garden and there are banana trees, our little lime tree and a beautiful, large tropical shade tree.
This villa has 4 master bedrooms, each with it's own private bath and it is extremely well equipped and filled with amenities. The location is convenient to shopping and restaurants, less than 500 yards from the Mexican Caribbean and within walking distance to a public beach (south) and the main square downtown (north).
For greater guest privacy, this villas is divided into two separate units, each with 2 master bedrooms, living/dining area and full kitchen. Villas Toapz was designed and built so that no bedrooms share a common wall.
There is a privacy fence around the property, a 2 level swimming pool with a small rock fountain, tropical plants in the garden, a gas BBQ grill and sink, cushioned lounge chairs and Adirondack chairs, 2 covered patios with tables and chairs (one patio has a palapa roof), hammocks, an outdoor shower, dive rinse tank, secure drying areas for scuba or snorkeling equipment and off street parking inside the gates.
For your enjoyment there are color TVs with cable service, free wireless high speed internet service (a secured system) DVD players, a selection of DVD movies, music CDs and a reading library. Both kitchens are fully-equipped with a stove, refrigerator/freezer, blender, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, glasses, cookware and utensils. There are even spice racks, wine glasses and beautiful hand painted margarita glasses.
There are 2 washers and dryers on site and guests may use them when the maid is through for the day. For families with children we can provide a Graco Pack N' Play, a small infant crib, a booster seat, a high chair and a stroller at no charge if these are requested when you make your reservation.
You control the air conditioning in each room with a remote control that set the temperature you desire. There are ceiling fans throughout, special cushioning on all four king-size beds for extra comfort and a pressurized water system.
Villas Topaz is recommended for up to 8 guests, but with the extra bedding we can provide it will accommodate up to 11. Although our standard arrangement is 4 king size beds, we have a double futon in one downstairs bedroom and one of the two sofas upstairs is a day bed. The bedding arrangement is very flexible to meet the needs of our guests. One king sized bed upstairs and one downstairs can each be changed to 2 twins.

- Air Conditioning: Remote controls so that each bedroom and the living areas may be set to the desired temparature.

- Linens Provided: In addition to sheets and bath towels, beach towels are also provided and there are extra pillows too.

- King Bed (4) : Each bedroom has a king size bed. If requested in advance, one king size bed upstairs and one downstairs can be changed to 2 twin beds.
- Convertible Bed (3) : There is a futon sofa in one bedroom downstairs. Upstairs one of the two sofas is a day bed that can be used as a twin bed. In addition, there is a fold up cot with a steel frame and foam mattress.
- Crib (2) : One is a small, portable crib for young infants only. It should not be used for children old enough to stand up. 95cm (37.4inches) long 50cm (19.6 inches) wide In addition, there is a Graco Pack N Play that can be used as a crib or a play pen. 100 cm (39.5 inches) long 72 cm (28.5 inches) wide There is no charge for these, but they should be requested in advance when you make your reservation.

- Private Pool: The two level swimming pool has a small rock fountain that cascades into the upper level of the pool. This portion of the pool has a bench along the entire length. Water from this slightly raised level of the pool then flows over into the larger section of the pool.

- Full Kitchen (2) : Both kitchens are complete and have not only the basics, but a blender, toaster oven, and microwave. All dishes, cookware, flatware and glasses are provided including wine and margarita glasses and there is a spice rack.
- Cooking Utensils Provided: Pots and pans are included, with some T-Fal and some stainless Calphalon cookware. There are not only spatulas, large spoons, etc. but corkscrews, cutting boards and graters.
- Refrigerator (2) : Two nice sized refrigerators, each with a top freezer, and the freezers have lots of ice trays!

- Catering Available: Private cook service is avaialble whether you'd like a special dinner just one night during your stay or have the cook provide breakfast and lunch 6 days a week (not Sundays)

- Gas/Electric BBQ Grill: There is an outdoor gas grill with a food preparation area and a sink.
- Deck/Patio (2) : One covered patio is just outside the downstairs front door. The other is a large palapa roofed patio with a wrought iron table, comfortable cushioned chairs and 4 double sized hammocks.
- Lanai: The screened porch uptairs is larger that a balcony, and a wonderful area to enjoy the island breezes.
- Communications
- Telephone (2) : Both phone lines offer free calls to the local 7 digit numbers, plus they are programmed so that guests who have ATT, Sprint or MCI may call those international numbers and make long distance calls from the villa.
- Free Long Distance (2) : For guests that bring a laptops with a USB port, we can supply them with a magicJack unit that connects to their computer, giving them free long distance to the U.S. and Canada. Please request in advance.
- WiFi (Wireless Internet): High speed wireless interent service is free (it is a secure system) so bring your laptop if you wish.
- Other Amenities
- The property is surrounded by a privacy fence. Both covered patios have tables and chairs plus there are a number of cushioned lounge chairs and cushioned Adirondack chairs in the garden for sunning, or relaxing in the shade of our big tropical tree. If they are avaialble, you are welcome to pick limes for your drinks off our little lime tree and at times there is ripe fruit on the banana trees. Enjoy the convenience of a fresh water outdoor shower, a dive rinse tank and two secure areas for drying and storing your scuba or snorkeling gear. The water system is pressurized, there is special cushioning on the beds for comfort, extra pillows, two safes for valuables, a hair dryer in each bathroom, a couple of fold-away drying racks plus 2 irons and ironing boards. Maid service is daily except for Sundays and major Mexican holidays. Purified water for drinking and cooking is included. You'll also find a selection of pool and beach toys and equipment in the closet

Guests love the large, privacy fenced outdoor area with patios, a garden, hammocks, lounge chairs, gas grill, outdoor shower and the wonderful tropical shade tree. Water gently pours from a small rock fountain into the upper level of the private, two-level swimming pool. After living most of my life in Texas (Houston, Austin, Dallas and Tyler) since May 2000 I have lived on Cozumel in a home only a few blocks from our vacation rental, Villas Topaz. How wonderful to live on this beautiful island with sandy beaches, scuba diving, snorkeling and all around the island are the crystal clear turquoise waters of the Mexican Caribbean. I have found my paradise. Cozumel offers an environment I've found to be remarkably safe, the people are warm and friendly and the weather is fantastic.
