Casa Secreto is located on the Mayan Riviera 20 minutes south of the Cancun airport and about 20 minutes north of Playa Del Carmen. It is tucked away near one of the most beautiful and remote beaches on the entire Yucatan. You will relax in the totally private seclusion this area offers.
Upon your arrival you will be greeted by the manager of Sandy's Villas who will take care of all of your needs during your stay. Bottled water is provided for the duration of your stay.
The 2 bedrooms have luxurious king-sized beds and the living room has a double-sized futon. There are patios on both floors with chairs for relaxing; the upstairs patio has a hammock for catching a few zzz's whenever you feel like it. The fully equipped kitchen and ceiling fans will make your stay convenient and comfortable. There is a TV and DVD player for entertainment in the living room. We provide all bath and beach towels, as well as bed linens. A large swimming pool graces the grounds where lush green grass, tropical flowers and palm and banana trees abound.
A spiral staircase leads up to the 2nd floor and then on to your private rooftop where a 360 degree view allows you to lie back on your lounge chair, work on your tan and view the spectacular sunrises and sunsets across the magnificent Caribbean Sea as the surf pounds and echoes up to your rooftop retreat.
The small fishing village of Puerto Morelos is a 10 minute drive north. There you will find a grocery store, dive shops, a pharmacy, wonderful restaurants, a pizza place, and fishing and snorkeling excursions. The Mayan Reef at Puerto Morelos is the second largest barrier reef in the world with some of the best snorkeling to be found. Enjoy the quaint town square where the locals sell their wares and children play in the park.
You can walk the powdery white sand at Playa Secreto for miles, gathering lovely shells and playing in the 85 degree turquoise surf and probably not run into more than a handful of other beachcombers. Beach chairs are provided for your relaxation pleasure surfside.

Why the Owner Chose Playa del Secreto
We stumbled upon Casa Secreto when looking for a vacation spot, and became the proud owners within a year. We love the area - the beach is beautiful and we normally have it to ourselves, and the grounds and pool at the villa are very inviting and relaxing. Casa Secreto is convenient to the Cancun airport, Cancun itself and Playa del Carmen. Puerto Morelos is only 10 minutes away - it's a lovely little town with much to offer for recreation, shopping and dining.

There are many things that we like to do when staying at Casa Secreto - snorkeling at the reef in Puerto Morelos, swimming at nearby cenotes, day trips to the water parks Xel-Ha and Xcaret, visiting the ruins in Tulum, golf at one of the many nearby courses, dining and shopping in Puerto Morelos and Playa del Carmen, and occasionally the nightlife in Playa del Carmen or Cancun.

We are Jeff & Laura Epperson, the proud co-owners of Casa Secreto, along with our good friends Garry & Julie Mayoh. We're all American citizens, but Laura is from Scotland and the Mayohs are from England. We live in the greater Fort Worth, Texas area and have made this our home for many years. Among other things, we love to travel and the Mayan Riviera is our favorite destination - come stay at Casa Secreto and Mexico will become one of your favorite places as well!

Our family had a fabulous time at Casa Secreto, and we are grateful to Rhonda and Chuck (on site property managers) and all the wonderful care they put into the place, and into making our stay so relaxing and fun. We look forward to seeing them when we come again sometime in the future!

I have stayed at Casa Secreto a number of times and will continue to go back there. I loved the villa, it's clean and comfortable and I especially like that there are 3 bathrooms! My most favorite of all was seeing a huge turtle come onto the beach and lay eggs! The beach is white, white sand and the sea is gorgeous. Casa Secreto is just that, a beautiful secret beach. I loved that it was quiet but when you want lots of fun and people, Playa del Carmen is close enough to go and visit. If however, your preference is a more local feel, Puerto Morales is a beautiful little fishing village where you can relax and enjoy great restaurants on the sea front. Casa Secreto offers everything you could possibly want, whatever your preferences might be.

My wife and I stayed at the Casa Secreto from May 14th - 20th 2008. This place is an absolute paradise and we will definitely return! The house was kept well and comfortable and the pool / cabana was very relaxing. Perhaps the most enjoyable was the beautiful white sand beaches with the turquoise water along with the privacy that this place offers. We found it to be much quieter than the likes of Cancun or Playa Del Carmen, but just close enough to both to enjoy it all. We booked a snorkeling tour and also visited Chichen Itza and were assisted by Laura and Pilar, they were very gracious and helpful. Both tours were great, but the coral reef here is absolutely amazing and we saw a tortuga and a very large stingray, barracuda while down there. The shopping and dining on 5th street in Playa Del Carmen was perfect to satisfy our desire to experience the bustle of people and something similar to home while we were there. A couple points of constructive feedback: 1. The communication between ourselves and Pilar / Laura was somewhat lacking as we were told to meet the tour bus for Chichen Itza at Hotel Valentin and they would not let us park our car there nor did we know how to locate the tour guide. By providence, I found the tour guide out in front of the entrance to the hotel and he was able to follow us back to the house to leave the car. Also, we were not even told that "Il Kil" the cenote swimming experience was a part of the Chichen Itza tour (perhaps the best part) and we therefore did not have our bathing suits. On another note, this condo was too large for my wife and I alone, on the next trip we will try to book a 1 bedroom and save $$. Other than that all was great, and we had a blast! Thanks Jeff!!

We spent a week at Casa Secreto with our son, his wife, our Daughter and 2 yr. old Granddaughter. What a beautiful place for a family re-union! Everything was perfect and better than we had expected. The neighbors were helpful and friendly and the beach(across the street) was where we took many walks and built many sandcastles !!

We stayed here around March, '07. Communication with the owner was easy and direct. The unit was clean and had loads of towels. The lawn and pool area were very clean and pretty, which was great as the beach was windy. Nearest restaurants are in Puerto Morelos. Only negative would be I'd like more maid service, perhaps every 3rd day.
