Brand new house located in Historic Old Town Pinehurst! Short walk to the historic village. Two blocks from the famed Pinehurst #2 Golf Course, site of the 1999/2005 and future 2014 Mens US Open. Minutes from many championship golf courses in the Pinehurst / Southern Pines area. Information on making tee times on any of the many area golf courses can be provided in advance. We provide professional golf packages and services for your vacation. Golf packages will save you time and money as we have discount package agrrements with most of the 40 plus courses in the area. Guest passes will provide professional tennis courts (24 courts), access to the members club and available discounted tee times on 6 of the Pinehurst Country Club courses.
Walk to the village shops, restaurants, and pubs. The village is where the after golf and shopping activities are located. The fine pubs and restraunts will keep you hanging around for the entire evening, no need to go anywhere else. The Pinehust village is a 5 – 10 minute walk from this new home. The main clubhouse of Pinehurst Country Club is 1 mile via car and less if a nice walk is desired. The main clubhouse is where all tournament play is scheduled (i.e. Teen Open, USGA Amature and US Kids Tournament). Visit the famed Pinehurst Hotel and Spa. Day/guest passes to the resort including the golf courses, pool and marina are available upon request in advance. Walk through the nature trails just 1000 feet from your front door!
The Pinehurst Resort and Country Club is famous for hosting the 1999 and 2005 US Open. Recently it was announced that the US Open will be here again in 2014. Pinehurst has earned a No. 1 ranking of the World’s Best Golf Resorts. The Pinehurst County Club has a total of 8 great courses you can play, each one with distinctive features. There are over 40 golf courses in the Pinehurst area.
The Village of Pinehurst was founded in 1885 by Boston soda fountain tycoon James Walker Tufts. He built a New England-styled resort and spa that offered many famous guests luxurious accommodations. The community of Pinehurst and its neighboring town Southern Pines boast beautiful brick lined sidewalks and clean tree lined streets..
